    I would say that these deals aren’t luck based. They are based on how you try and get the item and your wifi speed. I got 3 AirPods across the two deals and got the Bose earbuds today which was the only item I tried on.

    Negging because I tried for the Lego Harry Potter, the home hub and the Beats and just like everyone else, everything sold out before it even POSTED to the deals page. This deal was ridiculous. You had to guess the code, guess the listing, have it in your cart, AND not use paypal. The closest I got was the Bose headphones, but the code didn't apply even though I AM an ebay plus member. You really dropped the ball here ebay

          I was constantly refreshing from 11:15 pm. I missed the one around 11:15, and managed to get the 11:28 into cart and checkout. Instead of getting checkout message, I got a verify account message. Like that would have been mine. Then 2 more released at 11:48 and I got it! Heart was beating so fast. Hope you got the other one at 11:48 too!

    What browser/device/code were you using for a successful purchase?

    I guess ebay has learnt the way buyers purchased airpods, by adding them in the cart in the first hour and then checking out in the next, this new way of posting deals was completely untrackable. Was it all the guesswork you had to have to be able to make a successful purchase?

          Some of us worked out the listing/seller from the price listed. For example, only AllPhones had the Home Hub for $184.08. Then we worked out what the code would be in advance, which was a pretty simple solution (tried various codes at checkout [PHOME20, PGOOGLE20, PHUB20 etc.] before the sale time - if it was a valid code, it would say it "isn't ready yet").

          Then it was a case of keeping an eye on the listing/seller, getting things in your cart ready, adding the code in on the dot, and hoping they don't do a switcheroo - which they did with a few of them. Part luck, part planning.

        None of them did. There was a disclaimer on the specs listed on the ebay page which said the flavour capsules were not included, but it certainly was advertised as a 60l gas bottle.

          Ah right right didn't even see that. Just checked and I got a 40L too, the box it came in says '1 starter canister' and came with an upgrade pamphlet to go for 60L next time, not sure if a starter is 40L or 60L

                The reply is as in the following,

                Sorry for the confusion, our listing was partly incorrect - it should have said that this SodaStream starter pack comes with a 40Lt starter bottle, not a 60Lt one in the specification section.

                As our listing was incorrect, we would like to offer you a $5 discount for the mistake.

                When you need to exchange the 40Lt bottle, you will be able to exchange it for a full 60Lt one.

                @EDM: I asked about that, basically when your canister is empty you can swap it out for a 60L one and you just pay for the gas. It's also on the size of the box

                "When you swap over the gas cylinder they will automatically upgrade you to a 60L cylinder"
