      The puffs aren't as good

      • Damn

        • I like them

      • I like them so.

  • Exactly how hot are these?

    • +2

      About 3 hot.

    • Yes

    • +14

      They are usually room temperature

    • +4

      It’s only two-alarm, two-and-a-half, tops.

    • +2

They're pretty hot for chips (or whatever you'd call these). Hotter than Kettle chilli chips. If you like hot food they're pretty nice and have a decent kick.

  • no good; try the south Korean ones

    • +1

What is the South Korean ones? Out of curiosity.

    • +11

no good either, try the north Korean ones

      • you mean the ones with 100% Air?

  • -1

Are these made here or USA?

    • -6

do some clicking, bro MADE IN AUSTRALIA so yeah overseas

      • +2

The american ones are way better.

        • south American?

  • +5

Its interesting - the ones I had in the US were really nice, but the ones here taste like garbage

    • it's the cheese, it ain't cheddar

    • +1

Dunno what garbage tastes like, but I'll take your word for it mate :P

Tried Highett (VIC), but the shelf had been cleared out.

These were the first spicy thing my 9 year old daughter liked. Until it backfired on her a few hours later.

    • Hahahaha!

  • +2

Theyre nice, but have a highly chemical hot taste

  • +2

Costco has a massive bag for 3.99, but not sure if nationwide.

Overall not as good as the ones made in the USA.

    • They hurt. Ass on fire

      • +13

They're meant to go in your mouth.

    • What is the exact size of the massive bag.

If it is more than 400g then it might be worth it.

  • +1

Gave these a try. They kind of taste like pickled jalapenos with a bit of the cheese puff flavors taste in the background. Wasn't really expecting that taste, I actually thought my chips might be off or something. Overall I'd say this is the first time I didn't get the urge to finish the packet so you could say its my least favorite chip.

    • +1

Have you tried Wasabi Doritos? I'd say they have the potential to take top spot.

      • No I'll keep an eye out for them.

        • +2

By that I mean top spot on your least favourite chip list.
They are practically chemical warfare in chip form.

  • +3

They really need to bring the original flamin hot, (base similar to twisties)….

    • Flaming hot twisties need to come back.

    • flamin hot lime

All I could hear was Alf Stewart's voice as I read this!

    • +1

Alf feeds you Flamin Hot Cheetos in his rape dungeon. He's a good man.

I consider myself reasonably savvy with the options people have for cheese based snacks, and it baffles me that NZ's (Bluebird) Rashuns, Cheezles and Twisties aren't available here (without going to some niche NZ section)

The Australian versions (Cheezles, burger rings, twisties are completely different) all taste pretty average tbh

Probably better for my waistline I suppose

    • Yeah, the Bluebird and ETA stuff from NZ are so much more flavoursome. You can get the Bluebird twisties, rebranded as Curlies, in the NZ section at Coles.

      • +1

Coles have a NZ section? Imma gonna have to try these different chips.

  • +1

Still not as good as the hot cheetos !!

  • These are devilishly delightful!

  • Aldi is selling the 150g bag for $3 for anyone who can't find these
