    After flaffing around for quite a while and successfully purchasing non gift card related items, it finally worked for me. Called PayPal and they were unable to help at all.

    In my case it seemed to only allow me to purchase however much I had already sitting in my PayPal account. It wouldn't take it out of the linked debit card. Also made sure payment and delivery name and address matched. Cards came like 2 minutes after purchasing.

    Just thought I'd share in case that helps anyone.

      Have to settle your payment by paypal account.
      You cannot pay directly by credit card.

    hi guys, does anyones payment show up as "pending" right after the purchase? managed to get the order through but my card hasn't been charged, and it says "Payment being processed" on my eBay.

    edit: order was cancelled. doesn't work with PayPal.. when i try to pay using PayPal it grey out and says that "its not available for use right now. please use a different method"
    been trying all day, no luck.

      Yup same issue. Tried a second time as well via a VPN and that account got suspended and blocked within 5 mins of trying to pay lol:

    My order went through after second try in the checkout (first time there was an error). When i goto Purchases and click on the items ‘order details’ i get the option to ‘Pay Now’ again. However, the status of this order is showing as PAID inside Purchases. I haven’t received any confirmation emails. But it looks like it has charged my card already. What should I do? Pls advise.
    Is it alright not to use paypal for this deal?

      My experience is mixed. I've had some arrive in less than 10 minutes, and I've had others that don't arrive until the next day 16-20 hours (for other similar deals).

    I tried and failed with different paypal accounts and different values of gift cards. Just tried again with my original paypal account and it worked. Bit of a pain, but it's possible you could be lucky!

    Thanks op. Just worked…after 2hrs of mucking around.

    1. Never tried before so first uk account took time to get started
    2. Ebay flagged me on first attempt so had to make a new account from scratch
    3. Coupon code wouldn't work. Had to re-apply new UK address and Aus address
    4. Paypal wouldn't process, but finally did after trying with vpn

    I can finally sleep in peace. This was quite the experience.

    Step by step to try for those who haven't been able to get this to work:

    1) Create new account on ebay.co.uk. You can use a + on a Gmail address to create new email and access it in your normal Gmail account. Eg. Your normal Gmail is [email protected] create a new account on eBay using [email protected] and it will send emails to your original address.

    2) Turn off any location settings or GPS on the mobile.

    3) Go into account settings and change primary address to a UK address (just start typing an address and it will auto fill in or just Google up any address). Save.

    4) Go into account settings again and then add AUSTRALIAN address as shipping address. Save.

    5) Go to link and add $500 worth of cards to the cart, add coupon code and use PayPal as per normal.

    6) Follow these steps exactly, don't add cards before you change address etc and it should work for you.

    no freaking ways, tried everything and followed exactly all steps and still no ways to get these bloody cards, keep getting payment errors.
    "We can't process your payment. Please select a different payment method or check your payment details."
    New Paypal account: didn't work
    New Ebay account: didn't work
    Different debit card: didn't work
    Different browser: didn't work
    Mobile: didn't work
    VPN: didn't work
    etc…

    I joined the community just to post this, so frustrating!

    Ok I've been trying everything I can think of but after creating a new UK Ebay account (I didn't have one) and I try to enter a UK address (eg. I type 1 Queen Street and just take the first suggested one), it says "We ran into a problem. Try again later."
    So I can't get past this first step! I've tried Chrome and Firefox on Desktop, and both on mobile as well, and they all give the same error.

    Anybody have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

        I did get a message when trying to buy 10 of the same card, but not when I bought give of each, so I assumed it would be okay.

        Just checked and it looks like the purchase was wiped from the face of my account. No record at all!
