Arnott's Shapes $1.39 @ Woolworths - Starts 13th of July (QLD, NSW & VIC Only)

570

Never seen them this cheap in many years, I thought I would post for those who don't get the Catalogue delivered or don't read junk mail.

Also says 160-200g so appears to include all the different types hopefully…

Time to stock up, as pictured! :)

  • Good deal, but won't be stocking up as I find them too salty for my liking.

Didn't they have them for a buck just recently? Anyway, this is pretty cheap nom nom nom.

Edit: It was back in Feb at Coles, 10 delicious boxes of Shapes for $10, just seems recent as it takes a while to eat through 10 boxes LOL

This would be to clear out all old stock, as they are changing the size of the packs.

    • Did they not already do this 1-2 years ago?

      • Not sure, but i know its definitely happening right now. 200g will be 175g etc.

        • That's a scandal!

        • This already happened, unless they changed it again to 200g and will be putting it back down again.

Edit: Found a post from 30 July 2009 saying they were changed from 250g down to 200g.

        • wow scatman (oh god what did I just say) you are right.

"Flavours of the world" are 175g
regular is 200g down from 250g

So yes, another resize in the future, how sad.

nooo! i definitely noticed the reduction of flavour topping the pizza shapes, but always put the size thing down to me being able to eat more =(

          this blows.

Sounds like they're really living up to their name here…the "shape" of their packaging will change. I don't care if it's baked not fried, I just want my 200g shapes dammit!

Good news citizen. Your Shapes packet will be increased from 200g to 175g. Your chocolate ration will also go up from 30g to 20g. War is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength.

      • +1… Love pizza shapes

      • +1

nah, not really a fan of any of them. when I was a kid that chicken flavour was alright. got over them though

      • +3

        He's more into numbers

    • not even BBQ shapes ? :(

  • Yes QLD is included. I was so disappointed last time.

So they went from 250g to 200g and now to 175g? All the more reason to buy more.

    • It hasn't been reduced from 200g yet, but scatman says it will after the sale.

      • I know. Thats why I'm going to be stocking up for Christmas and beyond, and hiding them where no one can find them. :)

  • yes yes so the size will be smaller, but the important question is, will they also be lowering the price in proportion to package size? on more than one occasion the size goes down but the price is the same or even goes up! hence the idea of cost per 100g or similar first introduced by aldi i believe

    • +1

No the price will stay the same. This is the trick used so people don't think there's been a price rise.

  • Awesome!

    chicken crimpy here i come!!!!!

  • +1 coz it's cheap, and for the tags! Even though it's not for WA :(

  • used to love bbq shapes, but it seems like they changed it big time a few yrs ago and i could never like them again.

a box of shapes contains all the fibre you need.

the actual biscuits and plastic bag don't

  • i think the lady in the pic has had too many shapes herself, or its just the arm sleeves that squeezes a bit of 'shape' out into the open

    • How insensitive don't make fun of her detachable robotic arm
