24 months is the deal breaker

Yeah, but you can stack the gift card with other %off codes

  • Use the $500 on a iPhone 11 … Makes it pretty cheap.

Better off going with the JB plan if that's the case.

      • Yep, and ending up on a much better network….

This deal is really bad at $65pm, not only is it 24m, it excludes international minutes, roaming data, no 12m apple music, the same plan only 2 months ago was selling for $40 80gb, with roaming, international calls etc

The 80Gb plan is only $49 a month.

So you are paying an extra $384 ($16 a month over 24 months) to get a $500 voucher.

& no Apple Music, no roaming, no international calls

    • If it had more roaming data I would be sold on this one

  • I am still waiting for optus doing a super deal like last year

Thanks op but this is not a deal for me.

If anyone sign up 200G deal last / year before, you should know that deal was way better

  • stick with another carrier in my experience on the gold coast ..

    So your paying $1560 - Ebay Card $475 ( market value 5% off) = $1085 Total for 2 years .

If you think that's a bargain you shouldn't be on here lol .

Just another OP Without A Clue !

    • ~$45 a month is not horrible for 80gb, if you actually need that much data. Not as good as some previous Optus deals, but they have increased plan prices across the board.

  • +1

    Terrible value.

  • Very bad deal.

Just get the $49/80GB 12 month deal, over 2 years you'd save $384 and also get Apple Music and 2GB overseas roaming.

  • I pay $40 for 80gb 12 month deal, and got a google home and 12000 flybuys points. I thing it was not a great deal but still better than this one.

  • I saw this yesterday, they replaced the 12 month $150 gift card deal with this junk.

A lot of other people have mentioned the price comparisons so i won't go over that again. 2 year contracts are disgusting these days. By the time your 2 years are up you can probably get 4G Unlimited Data for $65 a month lol. This'll be in 2022.

  • Not Smart

  • Since when has Optus been such a rip off??

  • 24 months sucks, 12 months plan coming to an end soon for renewal;
