I have been waiting since 2 August for mine and still have not received them.

    • +3

      Same here.
They ignored all e-mails. So I contacted via PayPal on Thursday. They answered that quickly and said sent by express and I should receive either that day or Friday. Nothing arrived and tracking number has no results.

      • +1

When I wake up going to go that path with my first order with these turkeys . But I will include the 2nd order to try be done with em.

      • You're lucky they sent it express. I contacted via email first and got a response saying in a week. 2 weeks went by so went through paypal and they just refunded me without replying

        • Wow! Good customer service….not.

    • lodge it with the Good Guys as well, their advised dates don't line up with the suppliers.

      • Arrived today. They only posted when I got onto them through Paypal. Think I should have pushed it earlier.

        • Me, still waiting. I rang them Tuesday and they sent it when out then. The tracking number has no status and I have no idea where it is or when it will arrive.

          • @kizashi: Have you opened a claim with Paypal?

            • @whodidthat: No not yet. I am unsure what to do. Still nothing on auspost website and when ring them they just say it has been sent should get it by friday. Which l didn't.

            • +1

@whodidthat: Received them today and did lodge a claim with Paypal after your message.

  • +3

Lol, probably easier with eBay UK deals.

    • +1

Oh no its been >10 days since the last eBay UK deal. How will I live without my discounts???

      • You missed this one.

        • +1

Pretty sure I missed it only because I couldn’t buy more after the 18.5% off one.

    • Yeah but they cut you off at the feet trying to get your over fill .

  • +1

Even for e-vouchers, They says deliver in 2 days and taking longer. I have bought $600 worth Coles gift cards to buy Boost prepaid vouchers last week and they did not deliver it on time. I bought on Friday and they delivers on Wednesday.

    • +1

      Can confirm

  • +4

    not received since 2 august.
no reply to my emails. not happy

    • I purchased from them on 2 August too. I finally got a response from them yesterday. They said they had a problem with their supplier which led to delays but that’s been recently resolved. They expect to receive the gift cards this week and then they’d start posting them out.

      • I ordered from them a few times, all of them delayed
they did reply my emails and calls, same BS every time
they do eventually deliver thou, just long delays

  • +6

Gee how long does it take to chuck some gift cards in the post - pretty poor form!

  • Can someone explain to me how much this Concierge membership costs? I have read the website and no mention. Planning to buy a fridge soon.

    • Concierge membership is provided when you pay for additional warranty. They offer 3 and 5 year options. The price is generally dependant on the price of the product you are purchasing.

Just go to their website, find the fridge you want, add it to cart and upon chewing the cart you will see the option to add additional concierge warranty and their respective costs

    • +2

I just wanted a Concierge membership at the cheapest price, so I bought a pair of headphones for $49 & the Concierge membership cost on top of that was $30 for 3 years.

For a fridge it'll be a lot more expensive. You should have a look at the other membership benefits & whether it's worth getting it.

There's discussion in the previous thread on how to get membership at the cheapest price:

It took me 57 days to get the last lot delivered.
Sent a message to Good Guys & Pegasus Aust who provide the cards - didn't get any reply; but I didn't really expect one either.
    Never again for me.

    • +1

Pretty much the same time for me. I sent about 5 emails though…and yes, communication was bad. I got mine sent via registered post and they provided the wrong tracking number originally. It took a few days for them to provide the right one. I'm going to give it a miss…

GG will wonder where the rush for the 10% GC went this year… thanks to the Ebay UK deals :-)

    • The bad guys are known to losing mail, not issuing vouchers saying it will be spent next month for multiple months in a row etc

  • Is there any way to check your order history through GGC?

  • +4

It's pretty obvious they deliberately delay supplying these as long as possible - they've had your money for 2 months+ earning interest or providing cashflow for free. I bought one lot but after that experience decided its not worth the hassle or the wait.

    • +4

Should be called bad guys then

    • I think its to reduce the chance of chargebacks, and make sure the money clears.

Either way, I'm not surprised it takes so long. I picked up mine in person, and they are a very small operation. Like 5 people there.

Also worth noting that they currently have 10% off Jbhifi cards

      • The Iphone 11 chasers would probably join the party here with that JB offer lol .

      • +1

I've woken up a bit more the iPhone 12 will be here before you get your cards !

    • So its essentially the customers giving them a 6-10 week loan, and them paying 10% interest on that, in the form of 10% discount on the cards.

  • Sounds accurate that they hold onto your money or wait until they sell enough to buy in huge bulk discount….

  • Looking like six week for delivery of these too!..

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-nAludRy9GlsthbJAesDSidZ1e3…

    • Try wait three months for a physical and they say, you want an electronic one

  • Placed my order on 12/09/19 never received it. Paid for registered mail too and no response received so far. Will call on Monday. It’s not the first time their system make the order “stuck”. Constantly check order updates and don’t be afraid to call and push for it.

Gift card sold by Pegasus Group or something.

    • Pegasus?
They should change their name to Torteses

  • +1

i feel like ebay 10% off uk comes around more often

  • +8

Looks like the company has cash flow problems lol.

    • +3

Yep. The red flags are everywhere.

  • Eventually got some of my order still waiting for rest of it though.

  • I called them (1300 857 787. Opt1). A very very stressed out lady said they take 28 biz days to post out.
I was OTT nice to her and then she said she’d try to get them out sooner.

Sounds like there’s only a few people at best who process orders.

    • It's always been like that. Many years ago, before Cashrewards' 5% on Woolies' egift cards, I used Pegasus (they work for several shoppers benefits programs), and getting cards from them was always a pain.
Even when I was on paid memberships. Typical flow was to wait 5 weeks and call them every second day.
At some point I decided it is too much hassle for 5% (effectively it was less because of the shipping costs and the money cost for such a long period).
Now I prefer to deal with egift cards only. For Woolies it is Cashrewards, for Coles - Suncorp or egift cards from GG Concierge.

  • +1

Surprised this offer has so much heat with all of the complaints.

    • +1

Pretty sure that's what heat is.

Surprised media isn't watching their financials, as that alone is a major concern. Clearly a stupid offer, they're publicly choking on.

I'm already concerned with the concierge service… That they use that as a stick to hit you with, when something breaks on the 366th day (despite our supposed rights).

      • I'm pretty sure the problem here is not so much with GG Concierge. Their reward program is not why I bought it, mostly because of the extra warranty (and their regular $20 vouchers, as an extra justification) . As additional benefit they run Concierge Rewards, unfortunately they choosed a wrong provider.

        • Lol kind of different for me a $19 kettle , I don't pay insurance/ extra cover (ripoff) on any products !

Only attraction was 1 X 2k order would give me $100 more than the normal 5% .

          • @profar: Breville BES920BSS The Dual Boiler in my case, infamous for problems after 3 years. Anyway, I paid $150 for the Concierge and have already (3 months) received 3x$20 vouchers from GG.

PS Those extra $100 are going to be quite hard to earn (especially when you risking by $1800)

            • +1

@Cupa Bundy Drinker: Still confident on getting them just pain in the A$$ with delays ( wasting time contacting PP to whip there A$$ ) but I kind off knew from reviews prior to purchasing this . Made sure I used Paypal for maximum protection .

            • @Cupa Bundy Drinker: What sort of problems with the Dual Boiler? Sorry can't pm you

  • +3

If they sent the cards out quicker then people would be happy to order off them. I am still waiting from the last 2 deals so am not prepared to buy any more from them until I receive what I have already paid for.

  • It took almost 2 months to receive my previous order. I'm more than happy to wait as 10% discount is a good deal.

  • Also noticed 10% off physical JB HIFI $100 and $250 gift cards when I logged in.

  • Any delivery fees?

    • Yes. 2mths

      • That's a time not a fee

        • Your time is free?

I have some jobs that need doing.

          • -1

@Ulysses31: Waiting 2 months for something to arrive uses zero of my time.

If you are different you are wasting time.

  • I received my coles cards after 40 days. They are not very good in communicating when something is sent too. I called them and asked what is happening with my order and then they sent me an auto generated confirmation. But if savings is your priority then it is not too bad but don't expect you will receive things quickly. Cheers

  • Just ordered a headphone and Concierge for 3 years. How do I go about activating my concierge account now?

    • As far as I can tell, you need to pick up the order before they create the concierge account.

I haven't been able to get in to pick up my headphones yet so account still not active after ~36hrs

      • Confirmed that as soon as I picked up the order my concierge account was able to be activated (but not before)

  • how do they notify you of these special offers?

  • -4

    What's a Wish gift card?

    • -1

      Neggers like secrets.

    • -1

Weird thing to neg. It's a gift card that can be used at most Woolworths Group stores, including Woolies, Big W, BWS, Dan Murphy's etc

  • ordered, thanks.

  • Just rang them after escalating to PP cases and they said would send the cards after case is dropped . I mean they were pressuring for the case to be dropped . Like someone said in the thread they offered immediate egift cards even though physical were bought . They offered also a refund towards the end but that defeats the purpose of this purchase .

The case going double there 28 biz days of supposedly sending no response .

The one just under 28 biz days got a response : Good Morning,

Your giftcards haven't been received yet as you bought these in a 10% discount promotion which stated these would take 28 working days to pack. If you can't wait for your order then please let us know and we will refund you.
If you still wish to receive these cards then please release the dispute.

    Thanks.

No way I dropping the case till the cards safely in my hand !

No way I'll deal with these clowns again !

    • They don't even mention 28 working days on the site anymore.

"Electronic items depending on their popularity and supplier imposed restrictions get despatched to your nominated email address within 48 hours. Sometimes, the email may go to your spam or junk folder.*Harvey Norman electronic gift cards can take 5-7 business days to be delivered.
Physical movie tickets are despatched within 4 days of receiving your order. Please allow time for Australia Post to deliver items.
Physical giftcards are despatched with 7 – 21 business days. Please allow time for Australia Post to deliver items.

Note : Your orders placed during the May promotion ( 22nd May – 27th May 2019 ) will take 28 business days for your order to be dispatched.
Note : Your orders placed during the June promotion ( 11th June– 17th June) will take 28 business days for your order to be dispatched."

Once it passes 21 business days, I'll be escalating to the good guys and Pegasus

      • Good Guys won't / don't care, Pegasus will quote 28 business days. It will take longer, usually.

You will only get their attention via Paypal.

      • I still have not received mine and have only been given a tracking now with no log in Auspost website to say where the registered mail is. Very disappointing and now 10 weeks since made purchase.

  • Ended up with both batches physically in the mail , first didn't pay registered postage ended up express no signature hanging out in the letter box :) I did a reply to PP dispute of something along the lines of something wrong with them ( trying to state they will only send the cards out electronically if PP dispute is closed ) and will be contacting State authorities and possibly ACCC with the final crack of my whip .

  • Received the cards today.

  • Ordered 12/9/19, received 19/11/19 after emailing on the 6/11/19.

  • These guys don't budge until you open up a Paypal dispute… they will send it few days later but will try to blame it on the 28 working day turn around which obviously the reason why a dispute is happening
