Last year there was a 15% off ebay UK deal around this time of year, I'm hoping that comes around again soon. I know there was a recent ~18% off deal but that was a glitch on top of a glitch(mistakenly recognising AUD as GBP spend AND applying promo code on aus gift vouchers), so that doesn't count as a proper better than 10% off deal to me :)

i am looking for 15 - 20% coupons these days.
that 10% off doesn't always bode well, seeing many sellers apply a ~10% markup on prices (to cover eBay fees), so really, these 10% coupons are just a way for reducing stock. buyers feel 'happy'. sellers are happy that stock is moving.
( eBay hopes, buyers might buy something 'extra' while they're buying stuff )

I created an account ending with +ebay[number], but decided to hold off buying at the last minute. That account got banned funnily enough, T&C's state that I am indefinitely unable to use ebay for the rest of my life har har.
Feel like I am one of the few who never got this to work and now paying "full price" for everything ebay.

Nope - tried this last time. eBay AU cards can only be used on eBay AU - comes up with an error similar to "Cannot use vouchers from another eBay country" (or something like that). Was hoping to double-dip too :(

@rookie317: Seems like a blowoff, I recently got my payment through. Just added my uk email (+1,+2 etc) to my emails section in the paypal settings website and BAM all of a sudden i CAN use paypal. Tell me if it works for you.
@RetroMetro: Yeah primary, just added the uk ebay email to the email addresses on paypal.com and it allowed me through.
Might be risky, so you could make another paypal just for a 28 degrees card.

Got one to work before Paypal started spitting errors! Did 2x Wish $100 in the same cart, processed, sent a verification text from Paypal, accepted order. Refreshed and tried again to no avail.
Edit: It says down the bottom when I try Paypal again (after logging out and back in), 'you can't apply vouchers at this time'. I thought we could use it more than once…Only $20 off when I buy $500 worth of Woolworths gift cards. I decide not going to proceed with only 5% off. Haven't try the PayPal payment. Last time I was banned

Try again with only 2 items per transaction. If you buy 5 cards at once only two of them would get the discount so only $20 off.

Damn, just realised I didn't use my 28 degrees card for payment. Does anyone know if this is treated as a foreign transaction by other credit cards? I'm not sure since the payment amount is in $AUD but the site is ebay.co.uk.
You are charged in local currency so no foreign transaction fees.
Doesn't matter if you pay AUD, can still be charged forex fees if it is an overseas payment processer.

Well. I havenāt been charged any fees yet as long as my currency is in AUD. I have multiple cards from different banks.

Finally got it working…the usual PayPal cannot be used..then I thought I would try my wife's PayPal account..bingo it worked and received gift cards in two hours!
I might look into creating a burner PayPal account if that's the case..that way I won't lose my real account if I go too hard.

Dang no dice I think I just got lucky first time around when changing over to another Paypal account - even with a burner Paypal account / different ebay UK account Paypal is now greyed out no matter what I do - I'm thinking Paypal must be clamping down on the IP?
Since you got a burner, just wifi hot spot from that, you will get a different IP.
