    Pathetic deal from eBay.

  • I am just wondering everytime Ebay have their discounts (redemption code), their cashback is unchanged, every time when they increase the cashback (for example 1% cashback vs 10% cashback which we had it last month), they reduced site code (3%), vice versa?

    • This is definitely the strategy but fair game to them.

    • Why would you want cashback when you can get discount immediately though?

      • cashback so i can double dip with 28 degrees price protection

  • This is the strategy to force us to Buy More & 'save more'(AKA They earn more!)

    • Actually, this deal kind of does the opposite. Not just a joke because it's an unappealing saving, but because it's also structured so that the less you spend the better your saving. It's a 2-10% "buy less, save more" deal.

What a silly deal, if you want 10% off (which is the max discount), you have to spend exactly $100, $500, or $1000…otherwise its massively less. For example, spending $499 will be a 2% discount.

    • Add $1 to your purchase?

has to be eligible items which are not many at all!!

  • $10 WOW!

  • -2

Does anyone have a link to the eligible items per chance?

    • +1

Works at most retailers, bing lee, myer, microsoft, powerlandau, big W, Appliance Online, House etc..

      • Works with several smaller private sellers as well (at least the ones I looked at in Cameras > Drones, Computers > Tablets, Laptops & Notebooks).

Better and more frequent eBay promotions everywhere else, such as UK, US, Spain, etc.
    OZ no Bargain…Sad

    • +2

Sad! if eBay does anything that I, in my great and unmatched wisdom, consider to be off limits, I will totally destroy and obliterate the Economy of eBay (I’ve done before!).

  • Any sellers have iphone 11 pro?

  • “Save UP TO 10%”

“UP TO” sales are weak sales.

  • Having trouble posting this in it own right thought I'd tag it onto this post hope that's ok…

The Dyson V10 Animal is on sale through the Dyson Ebay store for $699. There is currently a coupon that ebay are offering that further reduces the price $649 (coupon: PETAL)

Shopback are currently offering this deal (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/488638) which would bring the price down further to $590

    Thanks

either they changed the selected items, or deal expired.

Just checked and thought they reduced the number of items it works on too. Seems to still apply to all items same as before when you add the code at checkout but does not show it being eligible on the listing (it shows the code POTTER instead).

      • you are right, which is insane.

  • Code is till working with several small sellers I tried.

  • +2

I'm getting "Unfortunately, this code no longer works. Please continue with your order.". The code was working this morning with the same cart) but I didn't pull the trigger :(

    • Ditto, code no longer works. Their marketing budget must have been filled…

    • +2

      Code is working again

      • Now I have to find something else to buy with it. Well played eBay

  • +2

I was also getting the "code no longer works" message. Chatted with the eBay rep and she confirmed the promotion has been "paused", with no confirmation when nor whether it would be re-activated. Quite the sneaky move by eBay.

  • Pretty crappy of eBay to pause this days before the end date, their deals are really sucking lately.

  • +1

    PUPPER is the new code.

    • just noticed, new post done
