Seems like it just takes away the 512gb SSD, instead of having 2 drives in the customisation?

    Solid State Drive : None

      Fark, you're right.
I was too quick to celebrate!

      • Here's my final configuration

So I take that you already put through the order…

          Nope.
It was in the cart, I'm still shopping around and wait for TA to come up with a better deal
          Thanks for the neg.

          • @Nuclearvodka: I didn't neg you. But just did on this deal post, since you as the OP confirmed it isn't one.

@sky blu: I still think it is.

Decent screen, recent processor, 16gb of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 4GB GDDR5
              for $1162 delivered? I don't think it's a bad deal.

@Nuclearvodka: Yeah right, with that 512 GB SSD missing…😂

@Nuclearvodka: Fair enough, but can you remove the part about the "pricing error" in the description so as to avoid confusion

  • I get $1072 with 8GB RAM option (best add another 8gb elsewhere as cheaper). OK if you plan to use your own SSD as a boot drive but it’s not as good a deal as the Fathers day one where you got the 256GB M.2 NVME drive included for same price.

    • I'm reasonably sure that this laptop only has one RAM slot.

      • If it is, it’s still cheaper to buy a single stick of 16GB elsewhere to add later. But you could be arguing over warranty after opening the chassis, so paying another 20 odd for the factory to install 16gb might not be a big deal to some.

        • I’m not aware that adding more ram yourself voids warranty. And a single ram slot seems odd to me, especially if its soldiered on. Perhaps someone can confirm.

FYI. The stock ram is slow at 2400ghz hence buy elsewhere for faster and cheaper

          • -1

            @MuddyClear: It's a single slot.
            Another reason not to buy

            • @Nuclearvodka: true. Personally I would never buy Lenovo - There is usually something wrong with their configurations, especially those on "sale".

  • Note that if you wish to put a 3.5" drive in this machine later on, you'll probably want to order it with one to begin with as otherwise it doesn't come with the appropriate internal ribbon cable: https://youtu.be/eRopACNiYwY?t=267

Mine says - solid state 512Gb, 8Gb RAM for $1172.88, not bad price
