R5-3500X / RTX 2080 Super Gaming PC Bundle [16/240 NVME/B350/27"/KBM]: $1649 + $29 Delivery @ TechFast

UPDATE: This deal will ship in the Thermaltake Versa H18 Case.

Since people seem to be in the mood for 3500X deals…

Thanks to the new Ryzen 5 3500X, this is the same price as we had the Ryzen 5 3600 PC ONLY for in Sept, but with a 27" AOC monitor and keyboard/mouse.

Spec: Ryzen 5 3500X / RTX 2080 Super / 16GB 2400MHz / 240GB m.2 NVME / B350 (Biostar B45M2) / 750W PSU / Thermaltake Versa H18 Case
Price: $1649 after 3500X-2080S-Bundle-Oct

The first question will be: can we get the PC on its own for less? The answer is, if you spec up the Base Spec 3500X/2080 Super from about a week ago to be the same, that comes to $1596, so yes you can. Or, for an extra $50, get the monitor and keyboard and sell them and you're probably in front. But I can't do this deal's system's spec separately, for less. I think that makes sense.

Second, recommended upgrades to get the most out of your system are 16GB 3200MHz RAM (currently Team T-Force) for $59, 750W Bronze PSU for $49 (currently Thermaltake Smart BX1) and a case upgrade. We have sold out of the MasterBox NR400 so are getting in the Thermaltake Versa J24 RGB - similar dealio: improved airflow, better internally, great reviews, similar upgrade price ($89).

If you missed the other deals feat. 3500X, here they are:
Entry Level: RX 580 8GB: $578
Budget: GTX 1660 6GB: $636
Mid Range: RX 5700 8GB: $899
Mid Range: RX 5700 XT 8GB: $1049

Mod Note: Extended until 4th November as requested by Rep

  • much better case. If the monitor has higher hz that would be nice.

  • These are such good deals… keep them coming Luke. Well done

  • I did all the recommended upgrades and price is now $1800 - awesome deal

  • Luke , what could be the Graphic card: MSI, EVGA, Gigabyte? Do we have right to chose?

    • the website says they use "Galax, Biostar, ASUS, MSI, Colorful, Inno3D, other TechFast-approved - all used as often as each other". MSI and ASUS go alright, I haven't heard of the other brands though. I'd also like to know if we could request a specific GPU brand in the build too

    • The 2080 Supers have all been MSI Ventus to date. Other card models have been Gigabyte but not 2080 S. We've not used EVGA.

  • I've saved up enough. Now I'm just patiently waiting for the right deal to come along.
I really like the 5700 XT but I'm worried about the bad ones such as the evoke from reviews?
So it seems much more of a gamble in getting a good or bad gpu with 5700xt's because we don't know what brand we get.
What are everyones thoughts on this new case upgrade option as well?

  • Nice deal

I would be interested in an Intel i7 or i9 deal with similar specs

I only owned an AMD CPU once, admittedly about 10 years ago, but I regretted it and wont be back

Have had multiple AMD graphics cards, wouldn't buy one again.

What about some love for Intel buyers

  • God dam it Luke! I am trying to hold off upgrading my system till AMD release there next gen Graphics cards… but you are making it sooo dam hard to resist!

Another bloody fantastic deal thanks Luke.

  • Nice build Luke, glad to see you upping the base stats on these more expensive Rigs.

  • Hey Luke
I just bought the previous 3500x base build two days ago :(
I want to upgrade to this one.
    I’ve sent an email too.
    An you help please?

  • I know this is probably a common question… but how is this SO CHEAP?!!

  • Stupid question
Can i get 4k with this monitor ?

If not. Do u sell this without monitor ? I will invest the curved 4k one. Thanks for ur assistance

    • It's a 1080P monitor, so no you can't. With such a beefy system, I would definitely want to run at least 1440P

  • Has anyone been able to overclock the 2400mhz ram from Techfast to higher speeds?

  • Hi,

Haven't been into computers in a few years so really outdated on the current spec performance.

Hoping you can help me with some questions.

    1. How are ryzens compared to intel?
    2. How are future upgrade options on the systems?
    3. How would this system run popular games? (e.g. pubg? COD?)

Thanks to anyone that can help!

  • Would this make for a good first PC.
Console gamer looking to move to PC in the near future.
If it makes for a good start any recommended upgrades to future proof it more

    • +1 vote

It's a very high entry point PC wise and will outperform consoles graphically for a very long time! The monitor and keyboard in the bundle is designed as entry level.

  • Will this run eBooks?

  • Thanks Luke, just placed an order with upgrades. Would I be able to pick up considering I'm in Adelaide? Cheers! Much excite.

  • hey luke, i just wanted to ask if its possible to switch my order from the previous deal to have the black case?

  • Very nice deal, especially if you upgrade to 16 GB of RAM.

  • B350/B450 motherboard difference? With such a beefy card, any chance the B350 bottleneck it some how? Just wondering if worth the extra $100 to get a newer motherboard. Thanks

    • I upgraded to the b450. From what I read I think it's worth it for the extra features and apparantly it works well with the x processors. Not that I know much about it lol

  • Thanks so much. Can I order without monitor / keyboard / mouse? => Never mind. Seems like my web browser didn't show those options. :)

  • Luke, Is this currently shipping with the Versa H18 case?

    • Yep, it is. Updated in the description, thanks.

      • @luketechfast when I go to add this system to the cart it says the Leaper Pro case is the base. Confirming for myself also that it ships with the Versa H18?

        • I went ahead with the order anyway as I was worried it would end with the end of Oct, so hopefully its just not been updated in the system and ships with the Verse H18 case. Let me know if thats not the case. My order number ends in; 2631
