                  @xwired: Not sure. I could not find the date from the numbers printed on the box. Even box said Date and Lot no, those numbers didn't make sense.

                    @EnALup: You should be able to see the actual date on the back of the Xbox, just above the serial number.

    Does anyone know if they'll let you trade in the XBOX and cop a fee for keeping the controller? Or even better, if you just trade the XBOX in and use the controller from the One X and trick the system?

    Just pulled the trigger today. They let me buy two 4 dollar games then trade them in. I traded in halo 5 and halo MCC and got a decent chunk off on top too.

    Yes, this is one of best deal if you have existing EB games credit. I had over $200 from last year controller trade deal which almost paid for XBox X.

    Hey all.
    Traded up from my fan noisy 500gb one s today.
    As i didnt have a controller to include they gave me two options
    either i could pay an extra $35 or they were happy to remove the new controller from the deal.

    I let them keep it as i didnt really need it.

    Im happy with the deal as i cant see myself able to afford the new xbox when its released. 👍

      I spoke to a salesrep yesterday and asked the same thing. He looked hard but was unable to find a definitive end date in writing. In the end he said it looked like the sale will continue until they sell enough units nationwide.

      To make a simplistic example:
      - Say they have 500 Xbox One X's nationwide in all stores, once they get that number down to 400, the sale will end
      - or - It will end the day before Black Friday sales

      Which ever comes first.

      My numbers are made up, but I hope I hope you get the idea…

    Ending soon as I was told. Gear 5 bundle ran out. White xbox x almost all gone. Black one stock is running low.

    Deal ended at EB Games Southland (VIC) today.

    Decided to take up this trade in deal, last minute decision - wanted the latest COD.

    Out of pocket for $151.75 after trade (Xbox One S 500GB). Also traded in a 2nd controller and 3 games I never use. Also being Bronze level member got the 10% or 15% trade in bonuses.

    To help fund the $151 have already sold a kinect (inc mount) for $60 and will sell Overwatch unopened and Froza 4 / Lego Speed. Also have other older xbox bits inc Infinity figures (and games) that I'll (try) sell eventually.

    So in the long run will cost less than $50 (even $0) to have upgraded to the Xbox One X with a larger hard drive and 4K.

    Just wondering if there might be something similar for Scarlett next year.
