I just got a notification from the eBay app that the TV was discounted and that there was limited stock so I just purchased for $610.94 incl. delivery.
buying from ebay doesn't let you pick delivery time right especially if you are at work since it is gonna be too hard to transport if you aren't home to collect it.

Pickup is probably the best chance of success; store grunts don't see prices or anything, just told to stick your name on a TV and confirm availability.

Most of those issues are resolved with latest firmware updates. And at $600 for a 75" TV I'll take the gamble. Seems like it's not being honoured though from abaove either way.
And also, a lot of the issues seem to come from trying to get the OS to perform beyond the hardware's capability. If you just hook up an Apple TV and your consoles and use the TV as a 'dumb TV', most issues are eliminated.
That’s wishful thinking and a lie as the latest firmware does not resolve the issues above - a must read to buyers. Also, any new firmware will to fix the apparent hardware issues this model TV is plagued with. It’s not even a gamble, it’s a paid headache 🤕
Well I've installed the latest firmware update on my last years tcl and it's fixed pretty much all the issues I had.
@s3n: My issues were lip sync issues when starting(occasionally) and needing a hard power cycle to fix. Freeview apps sometimes taking a good 2-3 mins to start up. Wireless taking s while to engage. Not had any of those issues since. To be honest not had any significant issues since that update.
@MuddyClear: To be honest not sure why you care so much. Dont buy it…who cares. Not really your business is it?

It will be harder to cancel the eBay ones than their own website. Is why I bought eBay stock as well when it came back online.
TGGs will have a lot of negative feedback in eBay if not honouring it. I mean worse than their current 95.7% positive rating …
