at the good guys now at newcastle kotara. been advised is a pricing error and refunds are going to be issued. got the 65inch for 600 ebay deal.
there's a slight chance some will get these with in-store pickup, just have to be really fast. duck out of work if you have to, definitely worth it imo, unless you're a doctor or something.
interesting, i just got a call from GG confirming my delivery for tomorrow….. I tried to get them to deliver it today but they couldn't.

My guess, they will cancel all eBay sales, and honour all TGG website sales. They lose less, and they keep the reputation of their own website.
I doubt that - but it could be that website orders were far less.
That doesn't make sense. If anything it would be in reverse. Their eBay feedback would be a sea of red negs in leadup to Xmas.
They are TGG. They don't care about the red negs on a third party. They care about the $ and their own website. Anyhow, just my guess ;)
The will cancel all orders if it is a pricing error, like they have done several times before. It won't matter where people bought it from.
Not true, already have some people that have picked it up, you just needed to order it from their website and get in quick before the memo goes out.

I've only seen ONE faulty hardware review
I've actually seen more positive reviews than not but I know I'm picky so for $1000+ I wouldn't bite but for $600 definitely
@s3n: Exactly me thoughts. VQ probably average at best but at this price no issues. To call the whole thing rubbish based on one DOA is absurd. It’s an electronic item. You will get faulty ones now and again.
@s3n: Virtually every review I read was either fixed via firmware or completely avoided by using an Android box.
I would imagine a huge chunk of people on OzB are using either a Shield, Mibox or a VTV by now, so that's pretty much everything covered….

Was listed as $695 when I shared this link. They have now revised the price to AU $1,595.00.
They allowed 11 to be sold at $695. They could have at least amended the price before hitting submit to prevent these extra 11 sales.

I just picked mine up.
1595 x 0.8 = 1276
So now even with a 20% discount it costs $1 more than the regular price of $1275 from the other day.
I guess that was their plan all along and somebody stuffed up.
