So do these come with a code? Or how is the 80gb data and calls applied?

    • Hello. This is a starter kit which has all the inclusions which start once you activate the sim

    • +1

80gb & calls are immediate, you’ve got 365 days to use it.

Here’s the CIS for all their pre-paid plans
      https://boost.com.au/CIS_25022019.pdf

  • When do you have to activate by?

    • +1

Hello. The expiry of these sims is more than a year. Plan starts when you activate the sim and not when you buy the sim

      Kind Regards
      CELLMATE

      • Thanks. Bought the $150 starter kit.

        • Hello. We thank you for your business and support

  • This is great but but only boost I've been seeing?

    • OP, any deal on $200 sim?

      • +6

Hello. No deal on the $200 sim as yet but if there is a demand for it we shall try our best to get a deal. The $300 starter kit for $266 gives better value in our opinion.

        • 200 sim deal please +6

  • I am already using $150 pack on Boost. If I buy this, do I have to port out and port in?

    • +6

Hello. You cant use this as a top up or recharge voucher

      • +2

haha. Good answer. Can't tell people how to cheat the system as the business owner I suppose.

        • +6

          Haha. Spot on

  • +14

The $300 for $240 and then we’re talking.

  • Hi, does the $150 pack come with the recharge code?
I bought this Boost start pack 6 month ago, can I use this to recharge my exisitng service/number?

    • Hello. You cant use this as a top up or recharge voucher

      Kind Regards
      CELLMATE

      • Will you plan to have a recharge deal ?

        • Hello. Unfortunately not anytime soon at this stage.

  • ~$130 is the norm now

  • Thanks OP. Bought 1

    • Thank you. We appreciate your support and business

  • OP I have ordered and received a blank boost sim I have not yet activated it. I am porting out from Telstra to boost. Can I use this deal?
    Thanks

    • Hello. As per what youve told me and what we have been officially advised you cant use this deal unless if any fellow members have a solution.

    • I had a similar situation. Porting Telstra prepaid to boost.

I had a blank sim and a 240GB starter pack sim.

When I called to port, I gave the call taker serial numbers of both sims.

Placed the blank sim in my phone and shortly after the port came through, they transferred the credit over for me as well. Didn't need a second call, they were waiting for the port to go through to do the credit transfer. The time they gave was approx 10 mins after successful port.

  • Thanks OP purchased x2

    • Hello. We thank you for your business and support

  • +2

    What about existing boost customers?

  • -2

    is this 1 month?

  • I bought one for $133.00, thanks OP.

    • +1

Hello. We thank you for your business and support

  • I am already with Boost the same plan. Mine is going to expire March 2020. When my plan expired how can I activate this one?

    • You’re gonna have to port out to another provider then back in mate e.g Boost —> Amaysim —> Boost.

      • How long do you need to port out for before you can port back and get the intro pricing?

  • Hi, can I port my number with this?

    • -1

Hello. If you are with another service provider yes you can however please note that you can't port from Telstra

      • +1

You can indeed port from Telstra. Call boost customer service and they will send you a free "blank sim card" which allows you to port from Telstra into boost. You can still use this 150/300 activation pack for the credit though.

      • I'm with Boost now, can I port out to other carrier and 1 or 2 months later port back to Boost again with same number?

        • -1

Hello. Yes you can but you cant port from Boost to Telstra and vice versa

          • @Cellmate: Stop saying that! You CAN port from Telstra.

            • +1

@Wardaddy: Mobile number portability refers to handoffs between different networks, provided by a separate third party team. The difference between Telstra and Boost is literally just the way you are billed by the same company. Your mobile number goes nowhere.

In reference to what we are discussing, Telstra can transfer you to a Boost service and vice versa quite easily, including transferring credit from these prepaid starter kits. This is not officially supported or recommended however.

  • +1

I'm not refering any other store specific.
Just pointing out there previously had been cheaper pricing.

There is a current post here on ozB for the $150 at $130

And the $300 can be purchased off eBay using Please10 for $265.50 (of course further discount if you have an eBay gift card purchased cheap; and Cashrewards and Shopback too)

  • Hey OP how long does it take to arrive (to Southbank, Melbourne) ? Because i'm travelling on thursday and needed to know if i order it today will i get this before then? Would be great if yes.

    • Hello. Unfortunately it's too close and we have no control over Australia Post.

    • You can pick one up to southern cross

  • +1

Poor signal reception in Melbourne CBD.

  • available in eSim?

    • Hello. Not available in esim

  • Can this sim be used in an iPad just for the data component

  • I have a current Boost Sim ends next March if i purchase this one and activate when the other expires do i still get the full 12 months?

  • Can I port out from Belong? to keep the same number?

    • Yes you can. I just did this couple days back.
All you need to do is to run the online chat and everything will be done in 10 mins, according to my experience.

The annoying thing is they don't have online account management - you need to connect to 4g and they will pick up the account details.

      • Thanks bjdchwr

I have followed instructions from the Boost website on how to port from Telstra. My move is prompted by Telstra deciding to charge me more per month without asking what I would like. I ordered a blank sim from Boost and have now had to make several calls to both Boost and Telstra and what appears to be happening is either:
a)neither of them know how to achieve this port out
or b) they dont want to do it so are making it difficult.
A typical incompetent effort from all involved. This is not an industry that provides a service other than a connection. Once they have your money they couldn't care less about you.
I am tempted to go back to using a two tin cans and a piece of string. At least I know it will work. Rant finished. Port still not completed. Enjoy your Sunday everyone I hear the lawn mower calling.

  • Anyone has experience about porting out from Jeenee to Boost? Easy or not?

  • Thanks OP, can I port from Lycamobile prepaid which is based on Telstra network?

Don't want to buy this and find out the porting restrictions.

    • Yes you can port from Lyca Mobile

  • Thanks mate, got 150

    • Hello. We thank you for your business and support

  • Thanks OP. I am considering to port out of optus to Boost. Can someone please confirm tha the starter pack come with the SIM included?

  • $150 Out of stock? Would it be back soon?

    • Out of stock?? The sims are very much in stock

      • Sorry I must have gone to the wrong link for Boost website. Can see it now in stock. Thanks!

  • I litterally just bought 2x 2 dollar Sims to go on this plan this morning…(still bought 2 of these) oh well 135 vs 150 I guess…

    • Hello. We thank you for your business and support

  • Can you port directly from Belong to Boost if I buy this SIM? Thanks!

  • Hello. Yes you can port from Belong to Boost

  • Hi, when will these be received, kinda keen to switch over ASAP, hence why i bought the 2 dollar sims.

    • Hello. We are based in Perth and it can take 6 to 8 days fro delivery via Australia Post once the order is dispatched

      • +3

how long to dispatch? I haven't seen an email come though recently.

        • +1

Same here. I ordered on 17th and only saw the "being processed" mail. I would have expected a dispatch message by now.

  • Hi just went online and it is out of stock since yesterday ($150). Any idea when it would be back? I would have bought from Coles but yesterday at Macquarie their network was down. Anyone has had any update about Coles activation system back online today?

    • Hello. WE shall be adding more stock early next week. You can subscribe tot he product and get notified as soon as the product is added in stock

      • I'm interested too. Will it remain the discounted price once it comes back in stock?

        • Hello. If you are referring to the Boost $150 starter kit yes it will be at the discounted price for now.

We have temporarily shut the deal in order to make sure we process the existing orders in a timely manner.

Most likely we shall reopen the deal by next Wednesday.

In the meanwhile please subscribe to the product so that you can get notified as soon as we add more stock

  • Hi, how many months do I have before I have to activate the sim? Thanks!

    • Hello. You have more than a year to activate the sim

  • Wondering if anyone has received the order, I bought one last Sunday.

    • Hello. Can you please message us your order number.

  • +1

    Still waiting. Ordered 16th November…

  • +1

requested refund, no order update at all. Will avoid this seller

  • +2

going to neg this seller, one week no shipping no updates. avoid

    • +1

contacted customer service and was given a tracking number dated today - obviously provided an empty tracking which hasn't been scanned yet.

      • Hello. All orders have been dispatched successfully from our end. Please note that we dont provide empty tracking numbers and are chasing up the local Post Office from where the sims were dispatched.
It has been brought to our attention that some of the tracking numbers are showing as pending however some of those customers have already received their goods.

    • Hello. If you have paid via Paypal then all tracking numbers have been updated. Our first priority was to dispatch all orders and then move on to updating tracking numbers as it takes a bit of time to update every order received.
We have tried our best and responded to every customer query via phone or email.
I am sure a few fellow friends here have bought from us before and are satisfied with our customer service.
We are a small business and try hard to get the best deals

  • +2

STILL WAITING. ordered on the 18th of Nov

  • +1

damn it, i could have ordered directly from boost, even at the RRP of $150, i would have saved money rather than waiting for them to ship it out.

its going to take about half a month (15 days) to reach me, Im currently paying 50 dollars P/M, that's 25 bux extra that i shouldn't have had to spend on my current plan, take away the 5.50 for half a month of boost (if i would have changed immediately rather than booked from here - IE half a month of boost plan) thats pretty much 20 bux difference, 133+20 bux > 150 that boost charge RRP!

    bad deal!

wish i could change my vote to a neg.

you guys need to get things out much faster.

    • Agree. Ordered 16th Nov. Posted out 22nd Nov.

      • Have you received the kit? I bought it on 17 Nov; they claimed to post it on 22 Nov, but tracking number says it has not been scanned.

        • Arrived today. Small envelope with a registered AusPost sticker on it.

          • @kickling: Congrats! I'll head back home and check.

            • +2

@richard2wth: But seriously… could have just gone to Coles for $135, got some flybuys points and not had to wait 11 days. Cannot recommend again.

              • @kickling: Hello. We understand your concern however we are based in Perth and deliveries to the Eastern states takes 6 to 8 business days. Unfortunately we have no control over Australia Post and their processes.
Each and every customer has received their order.

      • Hello. The order wasn't posted out on the 22nd.
We had dispatched the orders within our time frame of 3 business days however for some reason Australia Post tracking wasn't getting updated however all customers received their order.

  • Hopefully this helps anyone currently on Telstra postpaid needing to port over, this is the process as told to me by the Boost/Telstra rep on chat :

    1. Transfer to Prepaid (Same SIM and number)
    2. Request for Boost Blank SIM delivery (Ring 125 8881)
    3. Once you have the blank SIM, chat us at the end of your contract to switch you to Prepaid (to avoid paying early termination fees)
    4. Once switch is done, call 125 888 1 to request for Telstra prepaid to Boost prepaid transfer using Boost blank SIM
    5. Chat us in Live Chat when transfer is complete to transfer $150
    • I did this also (but with the 240GB) and the delivery was 2 working days for the blank sim. I did a Telstra chat to change to prepaid and it changed in 20 minutes. Called Boost from another number and despite the 4 hours estimated timeframe he had me up and running in under an hour. Very happy so far.
