Have been looking for stick vacuum. I can't find any reviews on this one but seems a decent price for the specs - interested if anyone has this model and has comments. Marked as a promo price set to rise to $299.99

I think it sucks less than Dyson V11 but that's not a compliment!

We bought a Kogan brand cordless vac similar to this one (but not this model) about two years ago. It broke within the first couple of months - it was a pretty low quality item. They actually refunded our money and paid for it to be sent back to them (we were shocked). This model might be better, just sharing our experience with a similar one.

    • Yeah If you search reviews for kogan cordless vacs there is some ugly reading. Really poor build quality is the common theme. This vac could be better not I'm not going to be the one to find out.

Xiaomi for double this price is the way to go.

  • Gonna bite the bullet and give it a crack, will report back if I remember/ future posts

    • did you end up buying, friendo?

      • Yes. It works fine as a vacuum, as in it sucks quite well, but the build quality is still VERY LOW. The main vacuum head is super flimsy and almost impossible to vacuum in a straight line. I wouldn't recommend it, some plastic bits are already falling off easily and I have to click them back in. Battery takes ages to recharge.

        • Well, because I am an idiot and signed up to ozbargain to ask you, then didn't notice you'd replied - I bought one too.

For $170 I'm fairly happy - all of my house is hard floors and it visibly removes things from it, which is my main requirement.

Yes, it does feel a bit flimsy but I have some ideas about how to make it feel stronger when it is closer to the warranty running out.

          • @rattarus: Well it does the job that's for sure, and more importantly, my partner loves it because it's super light. I mainly just keep wondering if I should've forked out a further $100 to get the Xiaomi Dreame V9, and battery charging ins't actually thaaat slow now that I think about it.
