@TRENT86: I think 1699 is the usual discounted price on the 256gb model so 1614 is starting to get tempting… can this be stacked with discounted gift cards?

@quikstix: oh wow, that's good. sounds like 1699 is the usual discounted price and every now and then it can be had for approx 1600. Wife needs to decide on colour and to see if she likes it. Hopefully there will be similar sales on the surface laptop after xmas.
@Worf: I think there is no limit in use of gift cards in store. Online probably there is a limit of 10.

Hard to say because the new Windows Updates you have to download and install are going to also alter the user available storage. There's also the SSD over provisioned space so perhaps only 110GB ~ 105GB.

I believe the Surface Laptop 3 has a user upgradeable SSD which is a massive bonus if you are sane and slightly tech savvy and don't want to pay the extraordinary premiums MS charge for larger SSD sizes.
The slot can only fit a shorter version, M.2 2230, SSD. That's quite hard to find on the comsumer martket at the moment.
Microsoft store had free sleeve offer during black Friday sale but ran out of sleeves and instead Surface Arc Mouse or Pen was offered instore.

I can confirm that the Harveys price match does work because you're getting the sales floor staff person to write up the price match ticket… Just don't mention the 5% off coupon and then when you go up to the register to make the payment it's then you produce said coupon. so I can confirm that I have just gotten an absolute ripper deal on Surface Pro 7 i7 256gb black 16gb ram for a total of $1861.05.

Thinking outside the square here… I've just ordered a thousand dollars worth and I'll order another thousand tomorrow via my AGL account for 5% off gift cards which takes 3 days to arrive. I think it's best that I go into return it and then tell them once they've credited my card back… I'll turn around and say… actually I'll take it..
