Couldn't find this on the Bunnings site. Closest seems to be the 200pc set.

Bought or someone gifted you that $49 Ozito Hammer drill but realise you got no bits to do anything with it? Then here's the kit with a "brand name" set you can follow up with to cover up all the home jobs!

Also discounted by half was the 120 piece kit for $12 or something, but I think the inclusion of the longer driving bits, some spades, and masonry bits is worth the extra as a starter set of gift.

Yes, they won't be greatest but as a starter set for someone they'll work fine for the couple of times they use it.

Description:

This kit’s RYOBI drill bits (13 HSS titanium-coated, four masonry and five flat wood spade bits) can handle a wide range of applications. The titanium-coated HSS drill bits are great for drilling into wood, plastic and steel. The tough masonry drill bits are particularly useful in renovations such as installing bathroom sinks. And the flat wood spade bits work well on plumbing, door locks, and natural wood.

The 42 RYOBI driver bits (13 x 25mm, 15 x 50mm and 14 x 89mm bits) range from Phillips head to hex-headed bits. This collection can help you with removing screws from latches and hinges, assembling furniture, modifying your vehicle, and plenty more. When you need to drive heavy-duty hex-headed screws or bolts, just switch to one of the five nut drivers.

This kit also includes two magnetic bit holders (60mm and 76mm), two screw guides (stubby and compact), seven 3/8” metric sockets, and seven 3/8” imperial sockets. All 90 pieces of the kit fit neatly inside the large and durable carry case, which makes it easy to store and transport all your bits.

This is part of Boxing Day Sales for 2019

Don’t waste your money on junk bits. These bits are way too soft to last even a box of screws. The HSS snap at a slight angle.

    • Alternative?

Irwin for budget. Milwaukee for every day use.

Dunno how many screws people expect this to last bit I am still using my cheapie Ryobi driving bits (in a drill and impact driver) and they are still doing the job. Done plenty of DIY jobs with them like refastening some doors, good ol flat pack jobs, and a couple of shelves/hangars. No, probably not a box of screws worth. Don't think they are the target audience …

      • The bits twists after a few galvanised or 304 countersink screws.

  • Perfect for odd job around the house.

  • I bought the $49 ozito drill, can someone recommend a good masonry drill bits. I have got good collection of other bits so don’t need those.

Just to use around the house, last time I tried to drill using a Sutton’s bit it’s melted and broke before I finished the first drill.
