Not a deal. This is the normal price for a large at Mcdonalds

    • +32

and you dont even get sugar with it

      • Those cheap bastards. Charging the same price and taking away your sugar.

      • +1

That's no surprise. They don't give free sugar even if something says "sugar FREE". Why would they give sugar if they say no sugar.

  • +1

incoming "sugar is what makes slurpees"

  • +14

Almost certain this is standard pricing, just anew flavour

    • +2

      This

They added Coke No Sugar, that's it

  • -1

7/11 often have sugar free coke slurpee.

    • +4

They don't have any sugar free slurpee. Especially not Cola. They have some "low sugar" flavours like Skittles.

      • +1

Low sugar Skittles flavour? That’s ironic.

      • +1

They are virtually sugar free @ approx. 0.7g sugar for a Large (depending on the flavour). They seem to alternate flavours, they definitely did have Cola at one point.

  • So buisness as usual?

  • Normal price.

  • -3

seems like a good deal to me but the title needs to be adjusted to say zero sugar coke

    • Coke Zero and Coke no sugar not the same.

  • The size is large. Same price for small for some reason.

  • i think it’s still a deal since new flavor but otherwise it’s always been $1

  • -2

7-Eleven had Cola no-sugar Slurpee before. Definitely not "Exclusive to Macca's".

    • cola /= coke sadly :/

      • Dunno if it's changed again, but a few years back Coke did/do supply the Cola flavour for 7-Eleven. They had an updated flavour sign with the Coke logo and stuff.

    • Never seen a no sugar slurpee in Sydney stores. Only "low sugar".

      • I think they did sugar-free for a while then moved to "low sugar" shortly after

        • +1

They sure did. Whenever I had the original no sugar, I needed to go to the bathroom for about half an hour… Wouldn't surprise me if they went low-sugar to stop the laxative effect.

Sorry, my bad. not sure how to remove comment.

        • +1

All good. If you really want to remove you comment, I believe you do so by reporting it (as you would for someone elses comment)

    • Depends how common Maccas has it.
I've seen only one store so far do a run of Cola Zilched Slurpee … and it didn't last that long either.

  • +3

It's regular price and applies to any size you want.

On another note, I've had this twice since launch and it's so close to regular frozen Coke that it's a no-brainer.

The chemical aftertaste when frozen is nowhere near as bad as non-Frozen Coke No Sugar, and it is still very sweet.

    • The chemical after taste is left in the ice at the very bottom when your trying for the last few drops. Best to leave it there.

      • I don't share the same sentiment and I got every last bit out of both cups.

Are we going to have one of these posts every time a new flavour is introduced?

    • I wonder if you can get a mix - Coke + Coke (no sugar).

      • Coke + Coke (no sugar)

        So diet coke

    • Yeah it's crazy, kind of like whenever someone posts a "bargain" every time Netflix adds a new show…

  • $1 large frozen drinks have been around for years at Maccas, KFC and HJs

  • +1

I appreciate the psa. Some people are late to the party.

  • +1

Not really a deal. Kind of like saying something comes in a new colour but its still full priced and saying thats a deal.

  • +2

Coke no Sugar Large .5g Carbs

Frozen Coke no Sugar Large 4g Carbs

    Frozen Coke Large 33.8g Carbs

  • since when does mcas allow pics to be taken?

    • Last week.

      Was on the news

  • According to the kiosk the regular price is 4.95 but it applies discount so $1 like rest. Doesnt taste too bad either, was suprised.

    • No sugar a lot better than coke zero or diet coke

    • +1

      regular price is 4.95

      Lol

  • +1

    This is the regular price.

    (Not a bargain)

  • No sugar hit and still paying the same as the normal coke !

  • All I'm thinking in the picture the person posted, is the battery life, only 12% left? Shaking my head.

    • +1

      I have recharged!

  • +2

Not a deal. This is regular pricing for a frozen beverage at McDonald and this is simply just a new flavour.

  • -2

No sugar but added sweetener most likely which is even worse.

    • Erythritol, sucralose and acesulphame potassium.

    • +1

Sugar has an immediate effect as well as being the largest single cause of most of our preventable disease.

Artificial sweeteners have been linked in studies to possible side effects with much larger amounts than humans could ever actually intake or over very long time frames.

Yes definitely worse… Idiot… (profanity) this has me pissed off do you actually think like this??

  • Thanks for the info. Can't wait to try one

  • +1

    Not a deal

  • +2

Should be moved to the forums. Not a deal.

  • +4

OzAdvertising. Don’t expect the moderators to do anything about it though - they won’t even move it to the forums because ‘it’s up to the community to decide on the merits of a deal.’ So I’m voting accordingly, even though according to the guidelines, this is an invalid use of a negative vote.

  • New flavour. Same price as the old flavours.

  • +4

Some of these posts are becoming really dodgy, seriously who thinks a new flavour of drink at maccas is a deal?

  • +2

Deal or no deal? No deal.

  • +2

No deal to be seen - how about the mods listen to the community and regulate this advertising post.

  • +1

Adding a neg because all the cool kids are doing it…
