      I watched it on a flight to kill time. Was fully expecting it to be really mediocre after seeing some reviews when it released.

      Actually really liked it and wished I'd watched it in a better environment than on a plane with crappy headphones.

        Same here. I'm over the stupid superhero/CGI spaghetti-fests that pollute the cinema these days so flicked this on during a flight to kill time. I came away impressed.

          I find they are a lot more accurate in terms of movie enjoyment. The critics judge quite harshly on a whole bunch of metrics that don't matter to most people.

      Not sure yet. The film only made $400 million at the box office. Its a numbers game unfortunately. This was a very CGI heavy movie, not sure yet, they haven't said no, so fingers crossed. Maybe it would be cheaper to make in the future, hence become more viable.

    I found it a bit meh. Not terrible, not great. Worth watching if it shows up on Netflix or wherever, but probably not worth buying. It does look nice, though, so if you just want something to show off your fancy 4K TV's capabilities then this could be a good option.

      I watched this for exactly this reason… really gave the OLED a nice workout, ok but not great movie. Weird cameo at the end, presumably they thought a sequel would be greenlit…

    I've seen the movie pop up at $10.99 a few times recently. Its worth a purchase at that price, some people may still question whether it was worth it in the end (script is a bit out there). But the special effects and audio is pretty rad. I've purchased the dvd, bluray separately and imported the 4K version not too long ago. Purchased the soundtrack cd earlier this week, its fantastic.

    For anyone that missed out keep checking periodically as it has come back in stock on and off a couple of times since it went on sale.

    Another +1 for a great movie. Really enjoyed it. Plenty of action!
