AmEx Westpac Altitude Black Card Bundle with Altitude Qantas - 100K QFF Points $3K Spend ($349 Annual Fee 1st Year) @ Westpac

100

Honestly worst 100K deal around but hey if you have the capacity then go for it.

Alternatively, a much easier card would be the non bundle westpac card (only 80k points though): https://www.westpac.com.au/personal-banking/credit-cards/rew…

Fees are high, you need to get 2 credit cards and the minimum credit limits & spends on both cards are high.
Also unsure if this works if you have existing AMEX card.

    "Honestly worst 100K deal around"

    So why post it??

    • Could run out of cards to churn (where I'm at right now) but still have spending capacity.

Also posted the non bundle which is 20K less.

      • Pretty sure churners don't need to come to ozbargain to find a 'deal' for credit card churning…

        Barely a 'deal' sorry.

      • Hi mate I am starting to try and churn at the moment, is there anyway to avoid the annual fees? Thanks

        • I'm not a churner at all but from the discussion I haven't heard of any way to avoid annual fees when churning. Just accepting the deals on offer. At the moment there's not a lot of annual fee free deals for points churning by the looks of it.

Look at the credit card page. Notable deals include:
          - Amex $450 fee in exchange for $450 travel credit
          - Comm Bank $0 fee ($2500 monthly spend) but not really a pure churner card
          - ANZ $95 fee 100,000 anz rewards ($2500 spend)
          - Virgin Card $129 fee in exchange for $129 voucher and $4500 spend

  • Was comparing to Anz, have they removed the "minimum income" requirement statements? Don't seem as visible as before….marketing ploy? or change in rules?

    This one is clear.

Actually they don't mention the income requirements for the altitude black one either. Hmmmm

    • It used to be $75k. Not sure if it's the same still, but.

    • Is there a minimum earn on that ANZ? Definitely was 75k

I need minimum 2 new cards, have alot of out goings and can't do Virgin, St George or AMEX.

  • Who doesn’t like a complimentary PP
Oh, OP mentioned the lounge passes3. Nevermind.

On a separate cooldown to regular amex cards so good for those waiting out the 18 months who still want an amex for reasons.

This is a better non-bundle alternative than the one you linked though OP. Same card but first year annual fee waived ($250 saving), choice of 80k velocity or 80k qantas (both with $50 fee) or 150k altitude points (no fee).

    • See this then this. Might get charged AF.

      • or open a bank account and become an existing customer.

        • <taps forehead/>

    • Doesn't say you need to be a current customer. It looks like a pretty good card to me!

  • Not much on the credit card no annual fee first year front at the moment (and I have some big spends in March).

Might have to default to a low tier Virgin or Qantas card (Ie $69 fee, but includes a $128 flight credit).

  • i'm a aspiring churner. how many cards can i churn in a year without impacting my credit score? i pay off all my bills on time, sometimes even before the end of the transaction period.
