Seriously crap unit, trust me !
Good price for LED Monitor though…

    • +6

Any chance of $60 off the price of the monitor instead? :)

  • oh crap i just purchased this from MLN :(

    shipping to NSW/ACT?

  • +1

Hey Rep, can you offer free shipping? if not then its probably no better than the MLN deal once you account for shipping.

    • +1

      Agreed

      • +8

Sorry, as ours web system not allow we do bundle and free shipping at the same time.

However we can do $195(LED only) with free shipping.

          haha
          nice try…

          I just don't believe you..
you are the ones that design the website.
You can make it do whatever you want..

        • +3

They will most likely be losing money if they provide free shipping. Regardless, it's still a great deal.

        • +5

This is actually cheaper than MLN and thus should be the real bargain.

        • +1

its pretty much the same after credit card/paypal fees

          Hi Centrecom,

I just took advantage of your great deal, as when I checked stock level on your website it had the 'green tick' next to the product for Sunshine location. However when I check my order process email that I received it says 1 on order - product is on backorder and that you are awaiting stock from supplier.

Can you please clarify what is happening with stock for this item?

          Thanks,

        • can you beat this offer from mwave for $179???

          http://www.mwave.com.au/sku-27140039-Samsung_BX2450_24"…

  • If free shipping, it's really real bargain

  • shipping FREE!? I'm almost miss this part! let me call centrecom now!

MLN's deal was a daily special and appears to be no longer available.

  • +1

if MLN's deal was gone, this one should be really real bargain

  • What do you guys think of a 24" for a PC monitor? Would you recommend something larger/smaller?

    • +2

Pretty much the perfect size for general use/gaming

      • Ahh ok.
What is the next size up and down from this, and are there big price differences? I'm just not 100% sure on what I want at the moment.

        • +1

24" is perfect if u sit ~1m from the screen, and ideal for multi-monitor setups on most average-sizes (2-3m wide) desks.

In terms of screen size, it increases exponentially with inches and panel quality from here on (as I seem to think while we've moved from 18/20" to 24" as the new standard 'entry level size,' the 27"ers and 30-40" 'big mommas' are still well-priced for their lower/niche demand.

As a multi-monitor user myself, for the past 3yrs or so, 24" monitors have been perfect for me (I use 16:10 ones though). In regards to screen size vs. how far you have to sit to view a triple setup, 24-26" is my sweetspot.

As a single monitor person though, I can't see anything wrong in something >24" hehehe :)

and if it had a HD tuner built in it would be everything I am looking for to put in the daughters room

A Vision HD LED TV for $234ish, with free shipping.

The brand is different I know, but I just got one, and its great. They have a zero dead pixel guarantee so yeah.

Also includes a USB port for recording and playback, HDMI, and an inbuilt DVD player.

      Bargain in my opinion.

      • wow sweet, I overlooked that one somehow.. Thanks for the heads up

  • What do you guys think of the ASUS ML248H? Would that be better than this? Kind of torn between the two.

  • +2

NetPlus in Perth will have these screens in at $179. Add $19 delivery anywhere in Australia, or free pickup.

    • +2

Way to ride the coat-tails of someone elses "bargain". =)

    • -3

      post your own ozbargain deal?

instead of advertising on other people's deal?

      • +1

        there there stop crying ..

    • That's $198.00 - which is still $3 more expensive than Centrecom's offer of $195.00 with free shpping that was posted earlier in the thread.

At least beat the earlier price :)

  • there is a paypal surcharge of 2%, something similar for the cards too.. so it ends up being the same as MLN for those who missed out. for paypal it is definitely worth it (much safer).

  • what is the shipping cost??

pls fix your website to allow us to see shipping cost without registering..

how do u buy for $195 + free shipping ?
it only has the first deal option…
