These are good for the price. I have been using them for 6 months without any major issue.

    • Hows the bass?

      • Good bass. Since then i moved on to the spunky buds. They sound probably around the same but less bulky.

    • How is the mic during call? Almost all tws that I have tried in sub $70 range have tinny sounding mic from the feedback that I got from people on the other side(yes I tried different phones - both android and Apple).

      • +1

Unusable in outdoors conditions. I haven't tried indoors.

  • +7

They pair to the phone really well, the sound quite good for the price and the battery is decent. The only neg is the lousy microphone.

    • +5

Still trying to find a cheap set of earbuds with a good mic

      • the samsung buds are not better than these

  • Had these 6 months or so (amazon) at this price. One issue they seem to have is that they get 'quieter. The fix is to reset them and then reconnect but it is annoying, and always happens when I want them loud I.e gym session! Happens once or twice a week now.

Still, for $30 they're fine, but I'll get a more reliable mainstream brand next time to avoid this kind of thing.

    • How to reset them?

      • +4

When the earbuds is turned off, press and hold the buttons for both earbuds for about 20 secs. You will see it flashes red & white lights for about 8~10 sec, and it will turn off for 2s, continue holding until you see it flashes red & white light again and release the button.

        • +1

I find that going into Bluetooth settings on the phone, forgetting the connection, and then repairing them usually fixes the issue.

        • Yoooo jim518, you saved me! I had bought a pair of T5's to replace my T1C's thinking they were broken because one ear would not pair up and was dead. I reset it using your method (did not realise reset was a thing prior to your comment) and now they work again!

Context for my joy is that i absolutey HATE the QCY T5's due to the terrible ear fit, they just constantly fall out even without moving around, no matter which silicone tips i used. Also the touch system is super janky and not intuitive at all

    • Toggling the Bluetooth media volume sync fixes my volume issues on my Galaxy.

  • +1

Xiaomi Redmi AirDots are the same price, not sure which ones are the best though. http://www.shoppingsquare.com.au/product.php?id=434019

    • These are better than my Samsung buds.

    • Are these genuine Xiaomi Airdots?

  • Have these, very happy with them. Only neg is the microphone and a slight audio lag on videos.

    • +1

This, I'd kill for some lightweight Bluetooth earbuds with a decent microphone so I didn't have to keep turning off Bluetooth the taking the call.

Either that or I need to stop working with old people who insist it's better to make a phone call, ramble for 5 minutes then I ask them to put it in an email.

      • Completely agree with you freefall101 re finding a pair with a decent mic

      • +1

They exist, just cost a bit more.

        • +2

got any models? Happy to pay up to $100, just don't want to shell out $180+ for Jabra or Plantronics stuff

    • Theyre cheap, but any audio lag is a deal breaker IMO.

      • +1

All wireless buds have audio lag, it's an unavoidable problem with current bluetooth. Some worse than others, but these are fine. Most apps correct for lag and you'd only notice it in certain, increasingly uncommon situations.

        • Lag is unavoidable with Bluetooth, some codecs are much better but are very rare, and the chances of the phone supporting it is pretty small.

YouTube doesn't allow faster playback compensating to the delay, that's a pretty common one I run into.

    • Where did you buy them from?

  • +8

The product might be good value but be aware you might be throwing away your money if you buy with shoppingsquare/apusexpress. They’ve got the worst customer service ever.

My order from around Christmas got lost but they refused to provide any compromising solution or show any compassion for that matter. When I enquired they backdated a random tracking number to the order which showed delivery at 10:26pm. As if couriers come at that time…

Also others have noted they’ve been scammed by them in the past:

  • +1

great price although my box has stopped working and the microphone sucks… just upgraded to the jabra 75ts for $180

    • Got a link? That's a great price.

      • It'll be the Qantas deal

      • special price through my employer but the qantas deal is still amazing

    • Sent you a pm mate, happy to buy if you're willing to sell the right earbud?

  • get the Redmi ones, they're better

    • How so? On paper the specs on these are better. Let alone all the reviews on dots having sync issues

  • Specification:
    Brand: Xiaomi QCY

    Xiaomi QCY?

    • +1

QCYs parent company is Xiaomi. it's also a lot more well known to the general public , so people slap their name all over listings

      • Where did you find QCYs parent company is XiaoMi? From my understanding they are 2 different companies in China

XiaoMi do have startup platform similar to kickstarter which allows company to release their product over the platform
However, products published via the platform are nothing related to XiaoMi company

Some called "Mi Eco System Companies" are companies that run as a standalone company but invested by XiaoMi
These companies usually publish products that can somehow integrated back to XiaoMi Eco System / Mi Home App
and controlled with other XiaoMi IoT products
eg. Yee Light Bulbs can be controlled via Mi Jia smart button

        • +1

Xiaomi are not the parent company. Rather QCY make some of Xiaomi's wireless earphones like the Redmi Airdots. QCY also sell through Xiaomi's crowdfunding platform and sellers will typically sell those products off as Xiaomi to generate more sales when they're not.

  • Do these easily fit in the ear?
The cheap pair that I got from Kmart for $19, wouldn't fit in my ear. So I gave them to my dad.
So before I fork out money on another pair just wondering how they fit, and do they fall out easily

    • They fit fine for me. The buds that are on them were small but it comes with a second, larger set of buds which fit perfect.

    • As someone with small ears, these do fit well enough for standard use, however, since there are no wings, I wouldn't go on a run with them. If you have normal sized ears they would probably fit a little better.

  • +4

For an extra $3.66 you might want to consider the QCY T5.

I had the T2C for a few months until the right bud somehow ended up in the dishwasher. I've just replaced them with the T5's which I do prefer.

There's less issues with pairing and either bud can automatically be used by itself (eg if the battery dies in the other). With the T2C you have to manually pair the left bud to use it in mono.

The T5's also have a special low latency mode which I haven't tried it yet.

    • Thanks, bought the T5s!

  • How do they compare to these?

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/303383325385

    • They don't. I have both

      • Worth paying the extra for the 1more's?

        • +1

IMO yes. Better fit, but that could depend on you. Bass is a bit flabby on the QCY, it's big but not much punch and bleeds into the mids. Controls are a bit nicer on the 1MOREs as well. All round I really enjoy the sound of the 1MORE, I feel like this is a great IEM without the sacrifices some TWS IEMs make.

  • I have been using QCY wireless headset for years
For their bluetooth over the neck range eg. QCY QY7, QY19
the quality are very good given the price point are so cheap
(Until I start using TaoTronics, QCY was my best choice to go on wireless headset in the budget range)

However, my last QCY true wireless (QCY pro 1 something…) was absolutely rubbish unfortunately
The major issue was the connection between the left and right ear piece
The left ear piece keep dropping signals from time to time and it was so annoying when this happens during listening to music
I ended up threw the true wireless QCY in to rubbish bin when I got my first Apple airpod (Its 100x times better!)

  • hmm

edit: ah I think it's saying including the case battery the total time is 32 hours

  • Sound peats also a contender although not this cheap.

    • +2

Sound peats is a rebadged QCY if I recall correctly.

are these not the same as last week's Kogan crap for $20?

    • +1

Those kogan branded one are just copycat products (eg they make their own air purifier as 2s which easily confuse with the XiaoMi air purifier 2s)

Can’t judge their quality are good or bad but I would not buy them unless they are far cheaper than the original

    • +1

these are one of the best cheap headphones on the market

  • Had 2 pairs. neither worked well

bad connection? bad pairing. tried all things to fix them.

  • Does anyone have a right earbud they are willing to sell me? My dog destroyed mine last week :(

  • Love these but does anybody have problems with connecting with the charger box?

I find if you knock the box slightly it can connect/disconnect it. Which is a major pain because it automatically tries to pair with the phone, and is frustrating if you leave it in your day bag and then it pairs and by the time you go to use it the battery is flat. Or you're trying to charge it and a jostle disconnects and hence doesn't charge. Or often only one bud disconnects, and then they go into the single bud mode and you've got to reset it.

    Bummer

  • Its Back in stock.
Am confused between buying this one and

    http://www.shoppingsquare.com.au/p_435278_TWS_bluetooth_50_E…

Does anyone have any experience with this one.

  • Delivery & Handling Fee: $1.95

    Anyone else experience this?

  • Has anyone received their order? Or had it shipped yet? Purchased on 29 Feb and nothing yet

    • +1

Me too. I just went on their Customer portal and I have 1 day left until the dispatch deadline….

    • Been 14 days and I don't even think it's been shipped yet. Would not have purchased if I knew there would be this long of a wait.

      • +1

Same here. Only reason I got it was the promise of Australian stock

Every day I log in, they push the expected dispatch day by one day

        • I sent them an email basically asking wtf is going on. Will wait for a response, but planning on opening a paypal dispute next week.

          • @BargainEnjoyer2022: Been 4 days and no response to my enquiry. Going to initiate a charge back. Wish I could neg the deal

    • +1

still waiting on mine - it's been 2 weeks since I've ordered, and no sign of a dispatched order yet. I'm guessing they weren't Aus stock and they are still waiting on a shipment from China. I might organise a refund

      • I did a paypal dispute. And 2 hours later I had an email to say my item had been shipped.

        • Yesterday I received an email saying it's been dispatched.. so I guess they got their shipment in. It would have to be an incredible deal for me to buy from them again

        • +1

Same here. Raised PayPal dispute yesterday morning, got shipping email in the afternoon, then received item today. They also replied my enquiry after no response for a week. Coincidence? I find it hard to believe…

  • +1

Just got dispatched three hours ago, after escalating my paypal dispute, WTF.
