Reading the news about toilet paper shortage makes our blood boil. It does not have to be this way people. Just buy as needed and sharing is caring.

One way to clean your bottom is to use our smart bidet, not only it reduce toilet paper consumption but you are also doing the planet good by reducing the trees being chopped to make those toilet papers at the first place!

For that we like to offer 30% OFF our korean made Smart Toilet Seat. $440 for one of our popular model down from $629.

IZEN is a South Korean company which has been manufacturing bidet for almost two decades. They have invented and patented the swirling ENEMA sprayer and was one of the first to have this feature on their bidet. If you are Korean you probably already know that IZEN has been manufacturing bidet as OEM for a number of major household brands like the one you buy your smartphones and TVs from

Izen Bidets carry 2 - 3 years warrantty depending on models but the one we use at work has been going strong for the past 5 years without missing a beat and we had customers who had theirs for 7 years and decided to buy another one because they like the look of the newer model. Most importantly, Izen Bidets carry Australian Watermark Certification and followed AUS power requirements.

DISCLAIMER : Once you use bidet, you can never go back to using toilet paper.. so… yes you have been warned. Wipe that Nutella Jam off your hand with dry toilet paper instead of washing.. Yep, didn't think so. ;-)

Same offer in January and received 4 votes…

Different times. Votes going up 🚽

      • But why? This deal is a continuation of that one. We shouldn't blindly upvote stupid deals just because it's toilet or toilet paper related, that's just ridiculous.

By blindly upvoting a poor deal, you're allowing them to keep posting lousy deals. That's not beneficial to anyone

            @Mahalo: Hi,

Thank you for your support. Cool username Spackbace! my tongue definitely got twisted now lol.

This is 30% off we normally sell online until 26th of March or until the toilet paper situation under control.

We just want people to have a happy pleasant poopy time while saving the earth!

            XX

      • No toilet paper available = more bidet sales!

  • Code doesn't work :(

    • Fixed now. Apologies!

  • Why these over the other ones available?
    Xiaomi etc?

    • +3

I'd rather not bash competitors / other brands but rather talk about our product.

Izen has been manufacturing bidets for more than a decade and this is the ONLY thing they do unlike some manufacturers which has multiple departments creating multiple devices.

In fact, IZEN also do OEM manufacturing for major brands out there (not going to mention which). The one we personally use is going strong despite 7 years of DAILY USE. We have customers who bought other brands but it breaks after less than a year and came to us.

      Have a nice day!

      • -1

You didn't list any benefits against actual brands.

You said "I'd rather not bash competitors" so you could then talk about how good your product is compared to Mr noname brand that doesn't exist, as well as talking about the reliability of your brand with a sample size of 1.

I wouldn't be surprised if you started talking about "information from a reliable source" or "many experts have said" at this point.

          Hi Bradley,

Happy to boast a little I suppose.

          • Better quality compared to a lot of made in China bidets out there. At least based on our experience and most of our customers'
          • One of the first in Korea to patent the Enema wash
          • The factory does OEM for almost a dozen other brands out there including household name brand. Big brand will not just appoint substandard manufacturing to make their products.

          • Stronger motor and more consistent performance based on my experience comparing.

          • The one I use at home and family members are still going strong despite 7 years of daily usage. Maybe I am lucky but it is what it is.

  • comes with free toilet paper ?

    • +3

If only we can buy one @ Woolies / Coles!

  • how much does it cost to install it?

    • Basically it cost nothing to install as this is considered a DIY product (videos on Youtube),

However you do need available power points. Ideally close to the toilet for aesthetic reason, but I personally use an extension on one of our toilet at home and do some cable management using conduit covers from bunnings. Some customers hid their cable behind plants, etc.

Adding power points vary from electricians but I have seen between $120 - $150 per point, cheaper if you do more.

My water supply is on the left hand side (when seated), is this going to be a problem? I assume that you supply the t valve, correct? then that needs to be connected to the seat. Would this water connection to the seat is on the same side as my water supply? what is the length of the water supply hose (to the seat)?

    • Nice find!

  • op, how does this compare to toto bidet? e.g. toto TCF4732AT v izen ib 450?

    • IB450 is the highest product range we carry, being used on some clinics, age care due to extra durability and most importantly the continuous hot water system in place. So in theory you can spray your bottom with nice warm water while watching the whole episode of The Witcher on Netflix

    • +1

Oh and ours are heaps cheaper compared to Toto with comparable quality and backed with 3 years warranty.

Toto normally comes together with the toilet cistern itself whilst our unit are toilet seat designed to replace your existing toilet seat to become Smart Toilet Seat.

      • +1

        2 or 3 year warranty?
This post says 3, website says 2.

      • just for clarification, are you saying the cistern is integrated in the toilet seat for izen models?

Okay. I'm officially over the TP thing now. I'm moving on.

    • +2

Why would you become enraged over a toilet paper shortage? This person seems unstable …

      • +1

Because we can no longer offer free toilet paper with every bidet purchase $_$ (dollar signs)

      • -1

Chill out. Just some attempt at toilet humour. Too see real mental issues watch the debacles at shopping centres

  • 'Guess this does double duty as a hand basin too.

Wipe that Nutella Jam off your hand with dry toilet paper instead of washing.. Yep, didn't think so. ;-)

    • Ahahahaha legend. There is this cool toilet from Japan that has hand basin which feeds to the water tank which we then use to flush. Very environmental friendly!

No resposne from OP so far. I want one but it is next to impossible to find someone to install for me.

    • Put out an RFQ on HiPages for (1) Electrician for power point (2) Handyman to install if you are not handy

      • +1

Lol. Yeah. I ve already done this and nobody made an offer. So strange. I wish all the company sells bidet including installation as well. Make it one stop shop. This will not deter many females like me from making purchase.

        • +1

If you are in Victoria consider yourself taken care of. We have network of installers who we can connect you with!

    • Hi,

Apologies for the late reply. My post seems to keep getting removed by the moderator. (due to my error).

Not sure if this is the post we will use from now or if I need to repost.

    • Just take off your current seat and put this on one, plug it in, and screw into the water line

      • Ummm, most toilets do not have a handy power point nearby…

        • Yes, either you get an electrician to add a power point or run a tidy extension (conduits, cable management, etc).

Once installed h won't even notice those cables / conduits especially with clever camouflage (bins, plants, toilet paper holders, etc)

      • that's the problem. I have one of those "in-wall" water tank that annoys the shit out of me. don't have the skills to put them dry wall back together and do the plumbing with that kind of setup.

  • -2

    This is an absolute joke.

  • For that we like to offer 30% OFF our korean made Smart Toilet Seat until Feb!

    But we are in March.

    • Whoops yes! Fixed now. Thank you sir!

  • WRT DIY installation, So where does the water come from that is used to wash with?

And what do you dry your wet bottom with if there's no toilet paper?

    • Hi,

Very good questions! It has everything you need to install including a ‘T’ adaptor.

So the T adaptor connects to your existing water supply which currently fill your toilet tank (flushing). Thanks to the adaptor now it branches out into 2 outputs.

      • Goes to the toilet tank (flush)
      • Goes to bidet

Our bidets comes with built in warm seats, warm water and BUM DRYER which you can adjust the temperature of the air blowing. Nice!

  • Looks more expensive then the xiaomi one, and that had a heater in it

    • Korean products are usually higher quality than Chinese, and this brand is very reputable in S.Korea, just like Kukoo is for their rice cookers.

  • +1

Most of branded Korean bidet products far better than cheap chinese product, Koreans have been manufacturing bidet since decades ago. Can't compare to cheaper quality like xiaomi etc. It's like you comparing LG vs Hisense lol

  • What about number two's in the shower? Any thoughts?

  • Is there a backflow prevention device/valve included? I guess this is needed in Victoria for any bidet installation?

    • -1

      Spot on.

      • +2

So there definitely isn't a backflow prevention device included. Bit shady to only answer half this question.

        • Yeah, I want to know this too

          • @clover: Sorry should have made myself clearer. I received mine the other day and there definitely isn't a backflow prevention device. They are around 10 bucks from Bunnings though.

            • @Eggsperential: Have you installed yours? Review Please:)

              • +1

@bogstation: Yeah partially installed but waiting to go to bunnings to get a backflow prevention valve. Bit annoyed that the seller didn't just honestly answer the question. Could've had one purchased and ready to install.

                • @Eggsperential: I didnt realise either..

Can you link me to the backfliw prevention valve youre getting?

  • i have heard of these things but it sounds so icky.. do they shoot a jet of water into your crack? Is it cold? Is it strong? Painful? Most importantly, is it clean? Do you trust it? I'm so skeptical of the idea, I would compare it to astronauts who recycle their own urine through a purifier. It removes all the stuff that's yucky and the water is pure.. and yet you still can't help but find the idea of drinking purified piss to be offputting.

    • +3

You shouldn't be skeptical though. Bidets were invented since the 17th century and has evolved over the years, so really it has stood the test of time.

You could technically argue that using toilet paper could actually be more unsanitary especially for people who do not put the toilet cover down prior to flushing. As there are sh1t/p1ss particles which get flung into the air when you flush and would inevitably land on toilet paper.

Do some research, there is plenty of websites which aim to dispel the myths around bidets. Its just a culture thing which makes them a taboo, mostly spread by the Americans.

If you are worrying about unsanitary water etc getting sprayed on your rear end, then you should stop using a mobile phone. Fun fact: cell phones carry 10 times more bacteria than a toilet seat. While many bacteria are harmless, some studies have found serious pathogens on cellphones like E-Coli, MRSA, and Strep.

      Ignorance is a bliss :)

      • When I say "is it clean", I'm referring to, how clean is your bum after you've used the bidet? As opposed to how clean is the water inside your tank. I'm skeptical that it can clean as thoroughly as a wipe which is manually controlled by your hand.

    • +2

I was sceptical until I went to Japan a few years ago and tried it since it's everywhere there.
Trust me, it's so convenient and actually more comfortable than just using toilet paper alone.
You will need to use a bit of toilet paper though, to dry off if you don't want to use the blow dry function.
Give it a go, you won't regret it

      • Hmm.. I'm going to Japan this month and kind of worried. They still have toilet paper in hotels if they have bidets right? If so I'll probably try the bidet but if I don't like it, switch to TP.

        • yes they do have toilet paper, even in country areas

just had a brain implosion. colleague pointed out it is dirty when staff use the toilet (#2) and walk out without washing their hands. but we've never considered it dirty if they don't use a bidet =O

Interesting read here. At the end of the day it is a personal preference, however if the water you use to wash your private parts is the same quality as the one you use to shower then the end result is cleaner bottom VS toilet paper.

          • +1

@xhunterx: at the risk of getting graphic, I like to clean the interior also (depth of one fingertip), and I don't see how a jet of water can clean the interior.

            • @lostn: Not at all, elephant in the room but it's an elephant we all know :)

              https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjRRcqa7oWI&t=300s

Have a look at this video. It has old style presenting but the information is relevant regardless. Most importantly though, I use this every day and the water does cleans in the 'invisible inch' the muscle / gap between anus and the rectum. The reality is if we wipe just the anus and does not go depth of one fingertip, poop particles still hanging on the 'invisible inch' may sometime misadventure out to the anus… happen to the rest of us… without bidet that is ;)

  • Surely you could include free shipping for this promo ;)

$27 to WA if anyone wants to know…

  • I get an error - no shipping available to Victoria

    • It’s available for $14.50 via trackable courier. Could you please try again? We received orders from Victoria today.

  • I've got really annoying "in the wall" tank type that shoebox place these days have. Whilst it looks really nice and clean, it's a pain in the arse to have bidet installed.

Would love to have these in considering we have like 3 females in the house.

    • It is a bit tricky but not impossible. If you are in Victoria please drop us a line :)

  • Can i pickup the item (saving delivery cost and time)?

    • Yep! Details on our website.

      • Found the details on your website. However when I try to checkout it only gives you the delivery option.
My water outlet is on he right of the toilet. Will the cable be long enough to reach?
        Thanks

        • Yes it will be long enough.

please drop us a line at [email protected] and we will sort this out for you promptly.

  • Are the buttons in English and do you have an installation guide?

    • Yes buttons, manuals are in English. Installation guide included and we have instructional video as well if needed.

  • What about the hygiene issue with using tank water to flush, hence tank water to wash your private part??

    • +2

      read this bit

      • Sorry, should have been more specific.
I was referring to rainwater tank.
Our toilets are connected to the outside rainwater tank which is used for toilet flushing.
I wouldn't think they are the best quality of water to wash your private parts.

        • Hi Jobargain, love your username.

The bidets comes with replacable water filter that normally last between 6 - 12 months depending on usage and water quality. They cost around 20 including GST.

I personally do not use them but we use direct water line not rainwater tank, these filters are especially needed in Asian countries where the tap water quality is less.

          Hope this helps.

  • Is there any feature difference between IB450 and IB450R or is it just that the control is remote instead of attached to the side?

I get an error - no shipping available to NT?

    • That is correct. the only difference is in the remote control.
Yes there should be an option to ship to NT.

  • +3

Any chance you could sweeten the deal with free shipping please OP? :)

    • Seconded, xhunterx

For the record the trees that are used in toilet paper and paper towel manufacturing in Australia are 100% renewable and no trees are lost during the cycle of plantation and logging. Has been like that for a long time now.
