JB has further dropped the prices on these automation devices.
Lowest prices as far as I can see. Great time to expand the automation setup.
Enjoy.

Thanks,
Fixed.
Do these need a smart things hub?
Yes, OR you can use hubitat
Hubitat looks fantastic….a little pricy for me…but looks incredibly solid otherwise.
A deCONZ conbee stick on a Home Assistant setup also should work well. I've not used any SmartThings, but have Aqara and Hue sensors working well. Aqara is better imo.
I've used the motion and multipurpose sensor with Hubitat without any issues. I'd imagine any Zigbee supporting hub probably will have working drivers for them.
any generic zigbee supporting hub… Xiamoi/Aqara hubs dont tend to support anything other than their own stuff (and IKEA) for example
Yeah fair call.
@ndenham: I had the Xiaomi hub and sensors but moved to Smartthings as all Xiaomi sensors, buttons, plugs, bulbs work with smartthings…
Integrated with Lifx bulbs into a single platform.
To those who have bought into the Amazon ecosystem, Xiaomi's Aquara sensors work with the echo plus. works out cheaper and it doesnt require the extra hub like this one.
Bought the motion sensor to automate night light and found out it doesn't have ambient light sensor.
The Hue motion sensor does…
Try setting an automation rule with a sunset to sunrise option. I use that for my notifications so I don't get plagued with them during the day. I find the smartthings app doesn't make it particularly clear
The Button link leads to the sensor, the button link should be https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/samsung-smartthings-butto…
