  I loved using the London and Paris ones on my recent holiday there last month. It was really useful to help find places and work out an order of things to do. In particular, having an offline map to refer to was particularly useful.

  Even if you do not get a data plan, your iPhone 4 will be able to pick up your GPS location so finding out where you are and how to get to places is easy.

    I have a US account and I still see some if them as Free. it looks like there are rolling over a few as a few days before the OP did this post Tokyo was also free but the others like NY was not. Fortunately I managed to grab them at the time.

    Just do an iStore search for mTrip and just click on all thr free ones.

    Yep, I got mine off the AU store last night, but now they have expired. But the US store is still free except for NYC.

  Honk Kong, Barcelona, Venice and Stockholm are still free in AU store. Just downloaded them then.

    It seems like they are doing a lonely planet, giving the apps away:)

    Collected 36 free lonely planets so far, and 15 mtrips.

  Trondheim is the only one of these still free.

  As mentioned above, Honk Kong, Barcelona, Venice and Stockholm are still free in AU store.

  Also found Munich to be free in the AU store.
