    extends your phone's battery on the go (eg going photographing); portable charger for your camera batteries, might be easier to use when you are web surfing and watching videos on the couch or in the backyard if you aren't close to a power socket

  Do your power banks use Lithium Polymer, or Lithium Ion cells?

  Ive had enough power banks catch fire or explode randomly over the years to not want lipo anymore.

  And yes, they were reputable brand names too.
