        Amazing!!! purchasing the new iPad now.. just can't decide if i go the extra big 12.9 one vs the 11.
        I have the 1st gen 11, and on flights they don't need to mind using it on take off/landing but i've seen people be told off for the 12.9 - so i think that my buying decision lol

        Mind you the receipt will have the full price (before the 15% disc, so you are even more in front!)

            Unfortunately all my work does is a '2 in 1' or 'tablet' as salary sacrifice, no laptops/phones etc… So this works for me for the current year ending 1 Oct… and i'll do it again in Oct sometime for the following year.

            Its just a shame we don't have any international flights operating.. RRP less 15% discount (but salary sacrifice at RRP) + could have been TRS refund of GST lol

              @ezza: When I have salary sacrificed phones in the past, they've refunded the GST as well as reducing my taxable amount so I haven't needed TRS for the GST refund.

          Not sure, I ended up calling Wireless 1 and asking for it today - they just emailed it through.

          In the past wireless 1 ebay used to just email it through on shipment.

    FYI - Managed to get JB HiFi to discount the 512GB Macbook Air down to $1799.00 combined with min 5% JB Gift Cards brings it to $1709.05 which is cheaper than this offer once shipping is included. Will post receipt once I go to collect the computer.

        I just called and asked if they could match the price from Wireless1 at $1729.15.
        Was honest and said it was via their eBay store but didn't mention that it required a code. The SA went and spoke with a manager and came back to say that she couldn't get to $1729.15 but could manage $1799.00 - I knew I'd get a further 5% at least with gift cards and so I took that and locked it in.

        Bought the giftcards online. Went in store to redeem them. I have 15 amex cards. You'll need 14 cards to get that price. My friend did the same by asking her friends to help her buy giftcards with their amex card since they weren't using the offer

    256GB with 8GB ram for a 13" MacBook Air I5

    Will this be future proof for 3/4 years if the laptop is only used for browsing, creating docs in word and PowerPoint and occasionally used for video conference like Zoom etc?

    Also, can we connect external HD and monitor with this?

    Never used an apple product before that's why asking for advise. TIA

      It heats up under load, but for day to day stuff it's perfectly fine. My gf has the new one and loves it.

      People like to complain, especially about Apple.

        Depends on what you do. There are videos of it heating up to close to 100 degrees with full fan with only 6 chrome tabs open…

    Highly recommended there 2020 MBA with i5 processor. Bought one recently and can offer brief review
    1. Keyboard is heaps better. The scissor mechanism is back and typing is improved over the butterfly keyboard.
    2. Processor i5 is quad core so you get a huge performance difference over the base model.
    3. Display is improved. I compared with the 2019 MBA differ by side and was able to see better screen brightness.
    4. Faster ram in this model vs previous, gives you better gaming performance.
    5. I don't do video editing which may explain why I haven't seen the device heat up.

      Base storage is also double that of last years and the current base 13” MBP. The keyboard, storage and more competitive CPU I think makes the new Air the model to get, where prior I’d have leant towards the 13” MBP.

        Turned up unannounced but then about 2hrs after i received it, it was marked sent with the same tracking number on the box. Then about 1hr later an automated email to say it was delivered.

        Looks like the dispatch area beat the accounts people who manage the admin side of things!

        No complaints here!

      Quite a few reviews stating that because there's no heat pipe that connects it with the heat sink, the fan is almost always on because it gets quite warm.

      How's it going for you? Is it always on and pretty annoying?

    I brought an iPad Pro 11 from this deal and got it in 2 days times, but didn't get the tax invoice which I needed. A quick simple call resolved the issue with the nice gentleman just emailing it through - they are friendly!
