    • I wish you good luck!
I think you are talking about code share routes, it's only allowed on Qatar airways operated flights.

  • Isn't this about the airline maintaining it's licences to fly into certain hubs? i.e. ghost flight's

      Youre kidding?!
I got my first, limit reached error at 7:03.
So basically, what I'm hearing is that error means shit all and I need to keep for an unspecified amount time regardless of the error I get…

  • No luck either.

  • Tried from 6:58 to 7:15 - no go :(

It’s over chaps. Tried valiantly but to no avail. Ah well, just wasn’t meant to be. To my fellow frontliners that got a code, enjoy your well earned holiday

There's still heaps of codes left for most other developing countries. If you have done aid work in another country and still have employment information maybe you can apply?

    • -1

Wouldn't this be considered fraud as this is intended for frontline workers working in the covid crisis? Even if I had, my conscience says that the workers in those countries deserve this more than me.

      • I am a frontline worker in Australia, in fact, probably as front line as you get working ED at a major Sydney Hospital. I was just highlighting the fact that the allocation for codes in places like Benin, west Africa, might not be used and you might spend 6 months a year doing work in aid countries.

I don't, never got a promo code, just saying that this might be the case for an individual.

Also, any front line worker in Australia should be able to acknowledge there never was a crisis here.

My work load was never busier than normal. We were actually asked to take annual leave as we were so quiet. No one leaving the house means no one's having to go to ED.

This should have gone to those that lost their jobs and were impacted the most.

        • My partner is a nurse in a major Sydney hospital and whilst precautions are made when working in Covid-19 wards, those nurses working in non Covid-19 wards at the hospital are super busy and their load is more than normal, not to mention the nurses or other frontline staff that are working at the Covid-19 test clinic.

          • @pogichinoy: It's a very small amount. I've worked in 3 major hospitals during the crisis and a small group is busier whilst the rest are quiet. Last year I was doing 6 hours overtime per day. Since the crisis I've gone home early.

            • @FreddyMerc: Lucky you. My partner works in various wards, ED, rehab, and cardiac, and its busy that she is asked to work on her days off.

Whilst this may not seem to be a crisis for you due to your workload, the landscape has definitely changed.

    • are you a frontline worker or a fraudster?

For those who were successful and have Status in Virgin you might want to do a Status Match with Qatar then.

  • Tried every morning and got nothing lol

  • Is this deal now "expired"?

    • Today is the last day. However, it seems the allocated day quota is already exhausted.

  • Has anyone tried to book a flight? Can't seem to see the discount when I apply the code.
