      I mean, they're not forced to deliver for Uber. Many other food delivery companies out there. If they choose to deliver for Uber, then they should just stop complaining. As for me (a customer), I'll only order pick ups from UE when there's a discount.

    UBEReats seems really aggressive on promote codes lately, I wonder how long this will last? Remember delivery Hero back in 2016?

    Friend of mine use to work in China on such delivery system. She said even after post COVID, the Australia model wont work. Her key point was 1 Volume drive by promote, 2 excessive delivery fee and 3 jacked up price because of commission.

    She further the reason china can do food delivery so cheap is because highly concentrated urban population which Australia doesn't have. In addition major delivery platform in china make their money from advertising, which Australia companies is not doing hence why they have to charge such a high commission.

    How does one sign up for Uber rewards? It was never an option for me when I signed up to Uber eats. But it was there in the account section for my husband when he signed up.

      You don't. Uber either selects you to join the program or they don't, unfortunately. It's still in "softlaunch" here in Australia.
