    Only for rewards members?

    • I think so!

    • How much is membership?

      • It's free, just opt-in. You should see an option to sign up in the app.

  • "New users only"

    • +6

No, I’m a seasoned user and worked for me

      • I put it in quotes as that's exactly what was displayed to me when I entered the code. It's targeted.

      • Are you a rewards member?

        • No, I don't think so.

          • @algy: That's why

I think this only works for Rewards members

            • +1

@Scythic: I'm a Rewards member and still not eligible

  • +3

    Damn, I wasn't targeted 😒

    • Not for me because maybe I have free delivery

  • +2

worked for me and my wife, free $40 nice.

  • +1

Worked and I'm not a new user by any means. Thanks OP

  • +4

Wow actually worked for once πŸ€—

  • +2

    Worked for me, thanks OP

  • +1

    It works

  • +2

    nice timing… πŸ˜†

UberEats bicycle riders have been left in the dark about an algorithm change they say has wiped out their income by nearly 50 per cent.

    • +3

Roughly coincides with when Uber boosted delivery fees by $1-2 across the board in my area.

    • -4

I mean, they're not forced to deliver for Uber. Many other food delivery companies out there. If they choose to deliver for Uber, then they should just stop complaining. As for me (a customer), I'll only order pick ups from UE when there's a discount.

  • +1

    Worked for me!

  • No luck for me! Not eligible apparently.

    • Me either. None have

    • +7

      Don't use it then

    • +9

Fair point, if you take a free lunch they will know what food you like. The possibilities of what they could with this information is endless!!

  • +1

    Worked. Thanks

  • +1

    Not eligible. As usual.

  • +2

Maybe they're just under their sales target for the year.

  • +1

Worked, expires July 1st (tomorrow) for me, so I guess dinner is sorted for tonight!

  • +1

    Thank You

  • Long time user of UE but I'm not eligible either

  • +1

Oops, you’re not eligible for this promotion.

  • +1

    Love a free lunch

  • +2

A targeted code actually worked for once

  • Nop ☹️

    • +2

The rest of the country is fine

  • how do i select pickup?

    • got it via the app. but code did not work :-(

    • It's available on Desktop Mode at the checkout screen.

    • On the home screen, there's an option button under the word ASAP

  • +1

UBEReats seems really aggressive on promote codes lately, I wonder how long this will last? Remember delivery Hero back in 2016?

Friend of mine use to work in China on such delivery system. She said even after post COVID, the Australia model wont work. Her key point was 1 Volume drive by promote, 2 excessive delivery fee and 3 jacked up price because of commission.

She further the reason china can do food delivery so cheap is because highly concentrated urban population which Australia doesn't have. In addition major delivery platform in china make their money from advertising, which Australia companies is not doing hence why they have to charge such a high commission.

How does one sign up for Uber rewards? It was never an option for me when I signed up to Uber eats. But it was there in the account section for my husband when he signed up.

    • +1

You don't. Uber either selects you to join the program or they don't, unfortunately. It's still in "softlaunch" here in Australia.

  • Can I apply the code now and schedule an order for tmr?

    • +1

      Yep, worked for me.

  • +1

Worked on my account, but not in my friend's new account

  • Nope!

  • +1

    Thanks OP, Lunch Sorted :)

  • You are not eligible for this promotion, broken Heart :((((

  • +1

    Finally a good promo

  • +1

    Works! thanks you OP!

  • +1

what the hecks a rewards member!

    • Uber Rewards is a soft-launched program that gives you points for Uber and Eats, that gives you rewards (like a free Big Mac combo, 200 Qantas Points, or 30% off three Uber rides) every 750 points, as well as random promotions like this one for Gold and higher. Platinum and higher members also get immunity from surge pricing on travel between two points (like the nightclub to home…) and Diamond members also get a priority customer service phone number and random upgrades to Premium rides.

      • do you pay for such a thing, or just something-for-nothing

        • It's a loyalty program and it's free to join.

          • @Scythic: If you're invited, at the moment. Still hasn't fully launched.

    • +2
