Wish they did this before 30th June :(

    • +5

They did you just missed it

  • +1

I'm getting $284.05 for the 24" CRG50 Curved Gaming Monitor.

    EDIT: Price without $50 voucher

  • Is the price after $50 off?

    • price is after coupon is applied

      • +2

        Should note in title.

  • +2

Looks like Samsung upped the price $50 each…

  • +1

$50 more expensive than last time.. bugger. Not sure what to do. Purchase or save for a different monitor.

    • +4

Yep, they cottoned on to the $50 discount… troubling times as an ozbargainer

  • +1

This is considerably more expensive than pre Covid isn't it?

  • +2

I suggest you make it clearer that this is after $50 off or update the prices because it’s somewhat misleading especially when a lot of people may be purchasing in quantity or have already used their coupon.

  • +3

Got excited before I realised these prices included the $50 sign up discount. $431 would have been my tipping point for the 32" UJ590.

  • 27" SR350 LED Monitor - $208.05
    https://shop.samsung.com/au/multistore/auepp/samsung_educati…

The price for this is before $50, should be $158.05 after voucher

    • But its only after 250 total purchase

      • Ah, you are right, the code I had, worked for this very item before the 30th of June.

  • Any have a Education Store code?
It's different to the normal store code.

    • +2

Yeah you have to sign up to the newsletter of the education store to get a different set of voucher.

  • Woohoo! Thanks OP!

  • 32” CJG54 Curved Gaming Monitor: Save $25.00 (Was $499.00)

    Worthless deal now unfortunately.

edit: looks to still be low priced via the reseller portal we have with work

    • Can you share prices of each model or your corp portal?

      • +5

You got it mate. Last week it was identical with the Edu site, but I've never seen a coupon on our portal. So it was more worthwhile grabbing from Edu. Less so now.

edit: found the link to signup for the $50 off. Have tried it while logged into the reseller portal.

edit 2: unsure it will work. checked the t&cs at the bottom of the signup page:

        • Thanks for the update! Did the code work for corp portal?

          • +1

@Meovel: haven't received it yet. hoping it comes through before they're OOS again.

          • @Meovel: can confirm that code won't work on corp :( will wait to see if EPP lowers in price again to take advantage of the $50 coupon.

            • +1

@jupy: I hope they do! Still pulled the trigger this time, hard to find deals at pandemic time.

              • @Meovel: it's tempting. free shipping is pretty nice too. I'm of two minds, wait for new tech and/or better deals on current gen, or pull the trigger now. looks like a beaut of a monitor.

        • +3

Thanks for the heads up! Got 32" CJG54 for $374.15 after applying the $50 voucher on government EPP!

          • +1

            @EVA-01: tell me your secrets!

            • +1

@jupy: After reading your comments I checked on the Govt EPP and it's already down to $424.15. Apply the $50 signup voucher that I obtained back in February (and was supposed to expire a few weeks ago) to take 50 off.

          • +1

@EVA-01: You’re a saint. I was just about to buy through education portal but checked per your advise on government portal and YES. Amazing. Saved me nearly a hundred bucks.

            • @prkr: Is the gov portal coupon still available?

              • @Meovel: don’t think so - i couldn’t get a voucher despite filling two forms

                • @prkr: How can i get access to these programs? Someone plz share the secret code? Plz pm

            • @prkr: let me in!

              • @jupy: Qantas portal and Govt portal are both the same. I have access to both + student portal. Check if you work for a company if they have an EPP and sign up. You may find similar prices.

                • @prkr: Dang, nah not here, on our EPP it won't accept the $50 code. Did you use my above link to sign up while logged into the EPP/Gov?

                  • @jupy: No I think you need to use the epp code, it's the same banner but after login to the corp portal.

                    • @Meovel: unfortunately tried both - one from the education program link in the OP here, and also while signed into my corp portal. neither worked :(

                      • @jupy: The epp one is 250 min spend, non epp is 200 min spend

                        • @Meovel: Got the $250 one in my work email today, didnt work, Live Chat told me it's not eligible on my specific portal. Big sad. Might grab a ViewSonic using the current 15% ebay voucher, or wait for Edu pricing to drop

                          • @jupy: That's sad .. they made such mysterious exclusions.
Tried on friend's epp the cose worked.
Which model were you looking at?

                            • @Meovel: The ViewSonic VX2758-2KP-MHD 27in 144Hz IPS can be had for $464 right now. It looks to be an OZB favourite, but I was pretty set on a 32". Tough decision tonight. Do you know much about monitors?

                              • +1

@jupy: I was looking for office use not too much into gaming monitors. The ViewSonic one has good reviews.
These Samsung monitors are relatively new and with few reviews.

I would first consider if having preference on bigger and curved screen.

if can get at $50 lower than the posted price I'm likely to pull the trigger, otherwise ViewSonic is certainly a good choice.

Received the pop up for the $50 voucher yet it isn't sending anything. Try 3 different emails, checked junk etc for them all. A little frustrating..

    • +1

could take 24 hours. been waiting 12+

    • Try checking your spam or junk email folders, my email was automatically sent to there.

      • I didn't receive an email so I emailed [email protected] as per the instructions in the popup.
They sent a code by COB, so that was good.

  • 28" UR550 UHD Monitor - $424.15

I bought that or similar for $334ish a while ago
My integrated I5 graphics was running it at 30hz, upscaling was horrible, I sold it on Gumtree without loss.

    • Where did you get for that price?

      • Futu - Ozbargain (obviously)
        hmtledSSLU28E590DS Samsung 28' UHD Series5 4K LED 25/1/19

        • Yeah that's a TN panel different from this one with IPS panel.

    • I don't think it the same one, must be a TN equivalent, this one is relatively new.

    Price hasn't gone up?
    32” CJG54 Curved Gaming Monitor is $424.05.
I paid $374 with the $50 discount code.

This is the same price as:
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/548633
and cheaper than the Amazon $469:

are you sure? just snipped this photo

  • I snagged a 32" CJG54 Curved Gaming Monitor for $375 (including $50 off) on Monday night, they were in stock for about 2 hours. It's arriving on Monday, couldn't be happier.

  • What's the difference between these monitors and DELL U2720Q ? Thank you!

    • dell one is top of the range, with ips screen, usb-c, brighter screen, better stand with vertical adjustment etc, more for creative people, less gamers.

  • Does anyone know if you can stack $50 coupon?

    • This is the price after applying coupon.

      • As in stack 2 or more $50 coupon?

        • No it's 1 per transaction

You need to have an email ending in .edu.au to buy from this store?

  • Is the 32" CR500 Curved FHD Monitor really bad at just 1080p? I will only be using this for working from home(office), no gaming.

  • I ended up purchasing the CJG54. I had issues with the education store so just ordered via the regular website.

Eventually got the education store email to work (was not receiving the verification email)

Anyway went to cancel the order but it was to late. Only $25 difference so not huge.

I just hope the monitor is ok for gaming, I was going to get an ultrawide but could not afford to spend more then $450 so hopefully I have made a ok choice

  • Hi guys, not sure if worth it to sign up. Are these still in stock? Normal store does not have stock

  • I had a $50 off code back from February and despite T&Cs said it would expire in June, it still worked lol. Got a monitor thanks OP

  • CJG54 not listed anymore :( I wonder if it's temporary or if they're just not offering it on the portal anymore.
