Anything for the 27" G7 QLED Gaming Monitor (model# LC27G75TQSEXXY)?

    • +1

      Unfortunately not

    • +13

      Hijacking first post.

      This is not Education store.
This is only available if you have an email with company access to one of the following companies:

      ANZ
      Australian Government
      Australia Post
      Downer
      Microsoft

      NBN
      Optus

      Samsung
      Telstra
      Vodafone
      Westpac

      • -1

so only those employees can sign up?

this means we aren't eligible then?

        • that is not an exhaustive list, it is best to check with your employer

          • -2

            @ln28909: under how it works

            it says

Enter a valid education email address i.e emails ending in edu.au
A verification link will be sent to the provided email address

So I don't where Scorn got the list of those companies

Seems like you just need an edu email that is on their approved list?

      • But if you are working at one of those companies and can access the EPP store, you will get the discounted price but I don't think it stacks with the $50 voucher. I tried and got a "voucher invalid" error.

        Anyone had better luck?

        • nope, I work for a Telstra partner and voucher won't stack. told that Telstra don't have the $50 off coupon valid.

      • Unsure how to sign in then - is this https://shop.samsung.com/au/business ? Tried signing up and have the following:

We've received your registration but we need to check your eligibility before you can enter the Samsung Shop for Business. We'll contact you within 3 business days to confirm.

        • No, that's not the site. There is separate login URL for each partner.

Here's an older deal with most of them linked

          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/444228

          • +2

@Agret: my portal doesn't have access to use the code, gives Invalid Code, but I managed after a few days to convince one of the Live Chat operators to use my code to generate one that works. Picked up the 32" curved. Long delivery time.

      • +1

You can also add CBA to the list, through their staff deals WEBSITE (NOT valid through staff deals app or the link posted above). Can confirm cheaper prices and $50 coupon available

      • Coles employees also get access to the EPP

      • +1

Not sure how OP got the $50 dollar discount. I tried and got rejected. Cheapest is $288 for the 2 monitors
If you read the term and conditions:
" Excludes Samsung Enhanced Partnership Portals, Samsung Government Store, Samsung Business Store and Samsung Education Store"

        EDIT:
all good spoke to someone at Samsung. Telstra doesnt get a $50 EPP sign up discount… apparently its targeted to certain Companies as well

    • SEXXY, huh?

  • Can't find the 2x24" sr350 led monitors? Do I have to sign up first?

    • +2

the website show the 27" as default, so you need to select 24" first

    • +1

@vangoh I think the idea is to buy 2 monitors in 2 transactions using 2 different vouchers

      • +7

I see.. nonetheless, I showed the boss and she said no as we need to be saving for our wedding 😪

        • +5

Just drop a guest off the list. MIL?

        • +29

Check the guest list, I'm sure "Mr Sam Sung" and his +1 was invited.

          • +2

@bdl: Haha mate if he was here I'm sure I could accommodate a couple of these monitors in the wishing well.

      • +1

the min spend for the voucher is $250, so that's why I included 2 monitors into my calculation

        • $288 for the 2x24'' after the $50 off

        • +1

But you can't use 2 vouchers in one transaction… So how did you get $100 off?

Edit: nvm… I didn't see the EPP price.. edu store is $160 for the SR350

          • @firefly2k3: So the prices on this post are all targeted to the edu store?

  • +2

Wish they'd do these prices again on edu store, good deals if you can get them.

  • Can anyone tell me how to set up dual monitor with one laptop? I only got one HDMI output. So how do I setup dual monitor? Do I need to get something like a docking station or is there a quick and cheaper way to setup dual monitor?

    • You’ll need a hdmi splitter / adapter hub. Should be cheaper than a docking station.

      • +7

Doesn't an HDMI splitter just duplicate the image on both outputs?

    • +2

      Yes.. docking station.
Or a usb-c hub (if your laptop has usb-c) which splits to 2 HDMI ports like this for example

      • Thanks I have USB-C but is there a HDMI split to 2 HDMI output that works the same?

        • -1

          No.

          • @Nuggets: You can essentially use a HDMI splitter but both split ports will carry the same signal. So you'll have both monitors showing the same thing. Your laptop would still see it as one monitor.

            • @firefly2k3: But that's not what anyone is after in a dual monitor setup.

You can't use an HDMI port to drive two display outputs independently. You can use a USB C port to drive multiple displays.

              • @Nuggets: I actually meant to reply to @arctan that HDMI splitter may work but not for a dual monitor extended screen setup which is what one would normally want. The wrong "reply" to your message totally changed the context of my response 😁

    • +1

      What laptop do you have?

      • Lenovo Y7000

        • +2

You've got 3 display capable ports on that.

If you want dual monitors, the cheapest option would be to get a USB C to monitor adapter and a Mini DisplayPort to monitor HDMI to monitor port.

          Check MSY for the cables/adapters

They're also on Amazon for around $12-$20

  • +1

Does anyone know what's up with 27 vs 28" monitors? Are they actually different panel sizes, or is it just some strange way of counting the bezel and they're actually the same size panel?

    • +1

As far as I'm aware they are different sizes, they don't count bezels in that measurement.

  • +2

How do you get the 2x for $237? Comes up as $338 for me.

    • Same here

    • Same. Minus the $50 signup coupon = $288. Don't know how to reduce $50 further. Can't make two separate transactions and use two separate coupons because coupon has min. spend of $200. Single monitor priced at $169

    • Are you on the EPP store? You might need to login with your organisation account first.

  • Is there anything special you have to do to get EPP and the $50 bonus?

  • The price in the post doesn’t seem to be right.

28’ UHD UR550 is $474 in EPP store. With the $50 voucher takes it down to $424. No way to get to the price of $374 as suggested in the post.

    • +2

this is a different portal to the education portal

      • -2

How do you get to this portal then?

Figuring it out. Needs to have one of the partner company’s employee email address.

Not sure I can get one of them…

    • It maybe targetted to specific EPP.
      Different EPP has different pricing

      • +1

Yeah. I'm getting a discount, but not the prices shown.

  • what is the coupon code guys? not showing up even tho I registered using student email a while back. Still showing full price for me - 24" CRG50 Curved Gaming Monitor. thanks heaps :)

    • You have to sign up.
      Code isn’t generic.

      • Is there a link for sign up?

        • Its a popup. Bottom right corner.

  • +1

Can anyone post the link for UJ590 UHD Monitor. I can't seem to get the price to be at 425.

    • same here. Cannot get a discount for 24" CRG50 Curved Gaming Monitor. :( Any help would be greatly appreciated

      • I have tried a few times without any luck

        • Yeah me too, best I get is $559.

    • Your portal is not the same as OP's EPP portal

  • Recommendations for these monitors? Gaming? Work?

  • 28" UR550 UHD looks pretty good, excellent size and resolution for office.
I think it comparable to LG UL600 which haven't been available for long during pandemic period.

  • +1

So how does one sign up to this?

  • +1

I am patiently waiting for something with USB C Alt Mode, 120Hz, IPS and HDR600+

  • +1

Give me a deal on the super ultrawides!

    • CRG90 $1699. Done deal.

  • +2

The link posted is for the Philippines EPP portal - correct link is based on your employer or here for Government employees: https://www.samsung.com/au/benefits/

  • Why oh why the 27 inch doesn't have a built-in speaker?

I have a Bluetooth speaker but sometimes I just don't want the heavy sound.

  • Can't seem to find where to sign up for the $50 voucher?
Do I have to login first?

    • +1

      Try this
      https://shop.samsung.com/au/sign-up

Mine took over 24 hours to arrive though

      • Thanks Goldberg. Just tried and signed up and haven't received anything yet. I guess it might take awhile to arrive. Cheers.

      • +1

That code won't work as it is for the normal Samsung store

        • Then how do you get the 50 off? I have access to an EPP

          • +1

@gram: I just did it through the government portal as it had a pop up for newsletter $50 off. And apologies for the bum steer on previous link

            • @Goldberg: Can't seem to find the popup. Was it on the home screen?

              • @gram: Funnily enough I literally just signed up to EPP with government email address and then after I logged in it popped up from the bottom of the screen. The voucher arrived in 10 mins flat. Logging out and back in again doesn't appear again.

              • @gram: It works best on your best in my experience

                • +1

@ln28909: ??? I ctrl F and couldn't find anything under "my experience" or "your best".

                  • @gram: I meant to say phone, guess I should sleep more lol

        • Confirmed with online chat that it only applies to selected EPP's. It didn't work for me with the Accor EPP.

  • +1

Does anyone have experience using the 28" UR550 UHD Monitor with a MacBook? Any issues with performance, overheating or scaling?

  • -2

    The CRG50 is $299 on the website…

with the $50 sign up that makes it 250 though????????? Not 200

  • By the way guys I saw the Terms and Conditions on the sign-up form which seem to indicate the voucher won't work on the EPP or Education store.

Has anyone tried it and it actually worked?

    https://images.samsung.com/is/content/samsung/p5/au/terms-conditions/email-signup-offer-terms-and-conditions-till-03012021.pdf?$ORIGIN_PDF$

    • Worked for me just then, through the Government portal.

    • Well it lets you check out and make an order. Guess we'll see on Monday if it gets cancelled.

    • That's the t&C for the normal store, the epp and education portals have a different t&c

  • I have 28 inch monitor with a notebook. Bigger screen is better I think.

    • +1

28" UHD? Is text to small?

      • Scaled it 200%

      • Press ctrl + "+" to increase the text size. "-" for decrease.

  • +3

Got the CRG50 for $204.15, thanks OP!
