Looks like not all stores have stock.

Use code DEALS10, which is for today only. See original 10% off Good Guys post here.

Been looking for TV like this. Maybe someone can comment how this compares to the $699 ALDI one for sale on Saturday? Warranty on the TCL is certainly 2 years longer.

Mod 12pm: Only a limited amount of stores have stock remaining. Delivery seems mostly unavailable.

      • It's my parents', you could imagine how annoying it is fixing it for them every time this happens. They can't be bothered to make a claim.

        • You can make a claim on their behalf. Phone TCL and ask about a warranty claim.

    • Have you tried updated the TV Firmware? Google Whirlpool TCL you might be able to find more details about your tv model. Some TVs have reportedly resolved these issues through a firmware update?

      • By Firmware you mean the OS? It says there's no available updates, but I always take that with a grain of salt as my LG G6 claimed to not have an Android Pie updated but I was able to flash it.

        • I'm not 100% but look online for firmware updates for the TV itself (check on the TCL website) and download to a USB if available.

Not the OS, I think those update easily over the internet as its the google OS.

          • @Chromeo86: Ok TCL. "Please type your software version to find the software."

            • @Void: https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/9j584n83-2 also found this.

Paste this in your search "SUGGESTED FIRMWARE: v549"
I think someone has linked the suggested firmware. Do your own due diligence or call TCL and ask them for a link to the appropriate file.

              • @Chromeo86: I'll have to try when I'm free. So stupid that a "smart" TV can't fix a critical flaw by itself or even have built in functionality.
