Nice case i reckon you could probably get those specs for cheaper with a much uglier case

You reckon it's that easy to find an uglier case?

  • +9

    Lol. Overpriced as hell.

    • +1

With those specs, I would consider this overpriced even by 2019 standards.

With those specs, I would consider this overpriced even by 2018 standards.

    • You miss the point its THE …Vortex W25-8SL-089AU :) … Woah now we can charge $3k plus for that:)

    LOL, Gen 8 i7.
I suspect you could get a much more powerful and power efficient Ryzen 4000 laptop for the money.

Yeah 3 yr old CPU! Also it appears to be a discontinued product?

    • +2

The thing is a screenless laptop but with a desktop CPU. It uses a power brick!

note that Quadro P4200 is mobile graphics GPU for notebooks. You are forever stuck with the 2018-era GPU unfortunately.

    • note that this deal is s to the h to the i to the t.

From PC Part Picker for $2,383…an absolute beast for $84 more.

Lol no you even confused the numbers that one is $3299 not $2399. This is like $1000 cheaper. Remember the 5700 XT is not good for workstation applications with the lack of CUDA, a 2070 Super would do nicely.

        LOL - wow oops. OK…. chuck in a 4k monitor while we're at it…

        • And a desk too!

@pin4e: Remove the CPU cooler and legit version of Windows and add an RTX2080Ti, it comes to $3248.22… $50 to spend on a desk from Gumtree

  • Not the best specs for that sort of money. But good try anyway OP

  • Lmao. An 8th Gen locked Core i7, with very little storage, only 16GB of RAM for a "workstation" and quite weak GPU. NO THANKS!

  • +1

lol what a rip off. You can get a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU for under $300 which is a much better CPU than the i7 8700.

  • For a second I thought it was one of those backup VR systems they tried selling years ago.

    Hardly Normal: prices

  • My recent build:
    Geforece 2060 Super $620.00
    Asus Z490 TUF gaming +$292.62
    Intel i7 10700th $543.82
    Mem card 3200 16GB $116.72
    Corsair RM750 PSU $185.00
    WD NVME SN750 1TB $217.50
    Noctua NH-D9L $89.22
    Thermaltake H200 $125.00
    $2,189.88 - Total - Harvey $3,299.00

I saved $1,110 and somehow my spec is much better than Mr Harvey markup

i am 100% sure Mr Harvey Normal would sell my spec for $5,000.00

  • Did OP forget to tick the associated box? Is this just a marketing post? Is the OP listing this as a joke post? Not sure….

  • Why does a "workstation" with a Quadro GPU look like a gaming monstrosity???

  • How is this a bargain?

  • Go Harvey

  • Terrible deal.
