If this isn't the new standard RRP for this TV, then Sony have lost their minds. No one will pay $3495 for this.
The Good Guys also have this on their eBay store for $2995. With some natural competitive reductions in pricing, plus a well-timed 20% TGG eBay sale, picking this up for ~$2200 should be feasible sometime in the next few months.
