  • Any opinions about getting this or waiting for 4000 series CPUs?

    • +4

      If you can wait, wait.

      • Thanks, short and sweet, guess i'll hold out and hope they come out by Sep-Oct this year.

        • Then wait another year for the 5000 series.

Personally, I'm holding out for am5 and DDR5 to be mainstream even though there'll be no discernible difference for me.

    • what are you upgrading from?

  • Also not a bad price for the 3900x $674.67, not the cheapest seen at $647.90 though.

    Link Here

  • wait for zen3(4XXX)and DDR5

  • So the 4000 series are supposed to handle memory in a better way, or something, aren't they? Currently AMD cut corners on the way they access memory which is less efficient, in certain circumstances? I read/heard that somewhere - could be complete BS, mind you.

I'd love the 3950, but probably gonna go with the 3900 - but looking to buy around Black Friday. I guess the 4000-series might come out in time.

Are we eligible for Assassins Creed Valhalla if we purchase this through Amazon ?

X Box series X will be better.

  • I've got an import fees estimate of $193 on this. Assuming because it via Amazon US and over $1k?

    • Apparently yes,…

    • So just buy from the other seller (link earlier in comments) as you'll also get it sooner

You mean my Radeon ATI6950 won't give me 100+ FPS for BFV? What is this false advertising!

      • -2

Can an Intel i5 still give you more FPS than top of the line Ryzen? It was the case 3 years ago when I bought my PC.

    • been at or around this price for a few weeks now.

    • 16 cores.
