Hi everyone. A nice bonus for Amazon Australia. Please read the terms and activate the offer prior to shopping. Once activated, shop as normal via the 'Shop Now' (Store) or 'Activate Now' (Notifier) buttons on Cashrewards. Valid for purchases made from 2:00pm 28/07/20 to 11:59pm 28/07/20 (AEST). Thanks for your support as always. Stay safe, and enjoy :)

Important: Empty your Amazon cart before clicking out from Cashrewards.

Please familiarise yourself with Amazon's cashback terms here, and the full list of cashback/eligibility rates here.

$3 Bonus Terms:

  • To be eligible for the AUD $3 bonus, you must first activate the promotion via the link in this post, then shop as normal via Amazon Australia on Cashrewards.
  • Transaction must be made between 2:00PM AEST 28/07/20 and 11:59PM AEST 28/07/20.
  • $3 bonus is eligible when making a qualifying Amazon Australia purchase of AUD $10 or more in one transaction (inclusive of GST, after any discounts, and before shipping).
  • $3 bonus is ineligible when purchasing from categories listed at 0% cashback.
  • $3 bonus will not be added to your Cashrewards account at time of purchase. It will be credited separately as approved by 26/09/2020.
  • $3 bonus is over and above the advertised Amazon Australia cashback rates which still apply to the transaction.
  • Transaction is valid if made online via desktop browser, Cashrewards Notifier, Cashrewards App, or mobile browser.
  • Sales may report to Cashrewards ex GST so the amount shown in your account may be less than $10. You will still be eligible for the bonus.
  • Amazon Australia reports orders with multiple items as individual transactions into your Cashrewards account. These are still eligible.
  • $3 bonus is ineligible on purchase of vouchers, gift cards, kindle unlimited, audible, mobile apps, subscribe & save items, prime subscriptions, and all categories/products listed at 0% cashback.
  • $3 bonus is ineligible if an order is cancelled, changed, returned, rejected.
  • $3 bonus is limited to one per Cashrewards account. Separate transactions do not qualify for additional bonuses.
  • Fraudulent activity will result in rewards being forfeited and accounts closed.

Purchases paid with gift cards are eligible for the bonus. Amazon credit does not count towards the $10 spend. Amazon Australia tracking is not instant - can take up to 4 days to report into your account.

Don't forget to refer-a-friend for $10 each. Tip: add your code to OzB’s randomiser. And check out our Help Centre & Contact form here for any questions or issues.

How do you find out which category it falls under? I'm looking at an item right now and it falls under
"Electronics › Mobile Phones & Communication › Accessories › Automobile Accessories"

    • Detergent falls under 'Health & Household' but it's not listed above. There is 'Health & Personal Care' in the list though. Can someone confirm which category from above list this product falls in and hence if cashback is eligible: https://www.amazon.com.au/Ultimate-Laundry-Liquid-Detergent-…

Isn't it always the way. Bought something at 1:57!

    • +2

If it hasn't shipped, you can immediately cancel it and reorder.

You get charged when your order gets shipped.
      Cancel and re-order.

  • Are items that have purchased on amazon.com.au but are sold by amazon.com and shipped by prime eligible for cashback?

    • +3

Yes… The important thing to remember here is that you must click out to the item from Amazon Australia on Cashrewards and purchase. DO NOT link directly to the US store or you will be ineligible. It makes no difference where the item is shipped from provided the order was placed on Amazon Australia. Hope this helps. Thank you.

  • Hi TA, could you please confirm "Amazon credit does not count towards the $10 spend.", does it mean if we use Amazon credit but the total amount payable is still $10 or more, still qualified for the cash back ?

    • +4

Hi yht. You need to meet the $10 min spend requirement after the application of any Amazon credits, as per the terms:

When using a valid coupon code or Amazon credit (applicable only on items sold by Amazon AU), cashback is calculated on the net amount after the value of the coupon code or credit has been deducted.

So in your case I'll provide an example. If you buy a $10 item and use $4 Amazon credit, you've only spent $6 and won't qualify for the bonus. If you buy a $14 item and use $4 Amazon credit, you've spent the required $10 and will qualify for the bonus. Hope this makes sense.

      • Yes, thanks, TA

  • Is it eligible if paid with Amazon gift cards/credit?

    • Did you read the OP?

      • It was outside the main block with the terms, so I missed it. Apologies.

  • Will you receive cashback for all purchases on the amazon website, or is it only for goods "Ships from and sold by Amazon AU"?

    • +1

Yes you will for all qualifying purchases… The important thing to remember here is that you must click out to the item from Amazon Australia on Cashrewards and purchase. DO NOT link directly to the US store or you will be ineligible. It makes no difference where the item is shipped from provided the order was placed on Amazon Australia. Hope this helps. Thank you.

  • Does this mean the all 0% categories won't get the $3 bonus?

    • Yes

So, if a store on Amazon has a code to get a discount, can i still get this extra bonus on to of cashbacks? I'm looking at buying these headphones https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/554274

    • Well, the details for the cashbacks don't say anything about using codes, so I'll assume that i can use them and still get some cashbacks

    • $3 bonus is eligible when making a qualifying Amazon Australia purchase of AUD $10 or more in one transaction (inclusive of GST, after any discounts, and before shipping).
    • $3 bonus is ineligible when purchasing from categories listed at 0% cashback.
    • Amazon Australia reports orders with multiple items as individual transactions into your Cashrewards account. These are still eligible.

so if you have an order that includes both eligible and ineligible items, then as long as the total spend on eligible items is at least $10 after discounts/credits and before shipping, the $3 bonus should still be received?

what happens if credit is used that is applied to the whole order including shipping? is it applied prorata to each individual item including shipping?

e.g. $15 eligible item + $15 ineligible item + $15 shipping = $45 total - if use $15 credit, then the $15 eligible item becomes $10 after $5 prorata credit, so qualifies for $3 bonus cashback?

    • +2

Hi tonester. This scenario is too complex for me to be able to give an accurate answer (I'm not sure I know the answer anyway). Why not simply save your credit for a future purchase so you can avail of the bonus by purchasing a valid item today?

      • no worries - am I correct that an order of both eligible and ineligible items can still qualify for the $3 bonus cashback?

        • +1

Yep, indeed. Provided the eligible item/s in the one transaction are $10 or more.

  • +2

I do wish you'd listen, Wymer. It's perfectly simple. If you're not getting your hair cut, you don't have to move your brother's clothes down to the lower peg. You simply collect his note before lunch, after you've done your scripture prep, when you've written your letter home, before rest, move your own clothes onto the lower peg, greet the visitors, and report to Mr. Viney that you've had your chit signed.

    • Every Cashback is Sacred

    • I still have questions!

  • am assuming that my latest purchase will be eligible for this bonus?
activated bonus, purchased $200 worth of goods, had $64 credit in my Amazon account which was used for partial payment and the rest paid via credit card.

  • combine this with AMEX offer - spend $40 and get $15 cashback.

    • Grocery has 0% cashback

  • if only what was once a book store was able to offer these commissions for their non-physical book collection >.> I just want some ebooks goddamnit.

  • The item I'd like to buy is listed in 'Stationary and Office Products'. I can see from the list that 'Office Products' are eligible, does that mean that stationary is too? Thanks!

    • +2

Any product that can't move is stationary

    • +1

And some still say that categorization of the products is very clear. You can see a few examples right here on this page where Amazon categories aren't clear as they appear to be different to the listed ones on cashback sites. Consistency and uniformity of category naming across Amazon, SB, CR, etc is the bare minimum they should do for the cashback program to work seamlessly for users.

  • How long do purchases take to track? I just bought an apparel item but no email confirmation from cashrewards yet

    • but no email confirmation from cashrewards yet

      This

** $3 bonus will not be added to your Cashrewards account at time of purchase. It will be credited separately as approved by 26/09/2020.

      • I meant the regular one, I haven’t even got an email about the standard cashback yet

        • regular one

It will take a few days but if you can see it in click history I reckon should be fine.

    • It's a matter of time after the order has been processed and dispatched by Amazon.

    • Mine just tracked.

  • I feel bad for those who had bought the echo dot 3rd gen for 10 dollars just before this offer from cashrewards. i.e. who used amazon's special offer to get discount on echo dot

    • Don't need to feel bad. This is limited to one per Cashrewards account.

Surely you can have many Amazon accounts and just a single CashRewards account.

      • so….. order another echo dot for 7 ?

        • Yes!

    • Some people got the $10 off 1st purchase like me, so it was free lol

      • from app ?

      • How ??

  • Aaaaaand… tracked.

    Good work as always Cashrewards.com.au

  • I spent 10$ on Amazon
Cashrewards is saying only 9.09 $ spent?
Am i getting this 3$ cashback?

    • +1

It's all in the OP & terms:

Sales may report to Cashrewards ex GST so the amount shown in your account may be less than $10. You will still be eligible for the bonus.

  • Did I stuff up last night?

Activated $3 bonus - went to amazon.com.au and found my $12.99 item in eligible category - toolbar reported cashback not active (no tick) so activated again from toolbar - bought item - today I can see sale tracked and obviously $3 will come later…

but will I still get it despite activating from toolbars after the activation for the $3 bonus page?

  • Cashback already tracked, including my whole fam. Happy
