            I remember buying a couple times purely for the novelty of purchasing something that costs more in labour/parts than is being sold for.

        I've always used the Money app and typed in via the eftpos pinpad, but have noticed recently they have an additional gift card redemption option to scan a barcode. I assume the barcode is in the email, but im wondering if anyone has found a way to use the new barcode process with the Money app?

        It's entitled to demand more yes, but I don't see why you can't criticise such a derisory amount. Where's the line? Am I entitled if I say giving a one cent discount on a $1,000,000 shop isn't very good?

    Anyone else having a really weird issue? Clicking on 'Shop Now' for 'Woolworths Gift Cards' in CashRewards takes me to an already logged in Woolworths Gift Card account for William Miller and I can't change any of the details to purchase it to send to my own e-mail address. If I log out and try again it keeps having the same issue. Tried it on 3 different devices too and different IP addresses (mobile phone and NBN) via CashRewards App and browser, still have the same issue.

    This is pretty concerning!

    So whoever William Miller is, I can see their e-mail address, phone number and postal address per the Woolworths Gift Cards site and it auto-logs me in to this account every time I click the CR link to Woolworths Gift Cards !!!!

    Anyone else has issues making payment? It keeps telling me they can't process my payment. Have tried with different devices/app/browsers. Even tried different cards but no luck! Called woolworths and they told me to work it out with cashrewards and they dont have a contact number :(

      What number did you call? Cashrewards has nothing to do with payments and any issues around this.

            @escs: Once you click Shop Now, you've left the Cashrewards portal and whatever payment issue exists is between Woolies and you. Are you behind some weird firewall/VPN etc? Sorry, not sure what more I can add.

        The only time that happened was during a 5.25% off deal that CashRewards ran, and it appeared to resolve itself in an hour or so.

        EDIT:
        Reporting back, purchased a $500 Woolies eGift card at 9:24PM AEST on 31/07/20, payment was done via an AMEX card, and the payment process appeared to be fine on the Woolies website

          I've had the same error for the last 5 days.
          Tried multiple credit cards.
          Even rang my bank (ANZ) and they said they aren't even seeing the transaction hitting them to get rejected so the problem has to be on their payment gateway.
          If you look at the Woolworths Cards Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/WoolworthsCards/community/) there are plenty of people reporting the same issue.

            I've only ever seen that issue last time there was a huge deal on eGift cards near the end of financial year.
            I can confirm multiple AMEX cards used for purchasing last few days have had zero issues.

            Can others who are experiencing issues post a little bit more information regarding their transaction?

            Card info, Visa/Mastercard, Debit/credit which bank issued it?

            The more information the better that we as a community can try and track down the glitch

      I know one reason is your email address issue. I was caught up before. If it is not a common gmail/hotmail, etc. an odd one, your ID maybe considered as a spam to Woolies.

      Once you change it to a common one(even it is different to CR/SB one), it'll be OK to pay. They are still linked.

    I purchased a Woolworths gift card at 3:50PM Sydney time. Can see in my Cashrewards' Click History that I visited the store at 3:45PM but when I check My Rewards page, it doesn't show my Woolworths gift card purchase. Cashrewards page for Woolworths Gift Cards says that notification is immediate, so I'm worried my purchase didn't get tracked properly…

      I don't really bother checking them

      Since it's only a few dollars extra for doing something that you would already do, if I get credited, that's good, if I don't it's not really a loss anyway. The effort to keep track of all these offers would probably be more than the value of the cashback.

      Same with the regular cashback tbh unless it's of a substantial size like a VPN signup

    Cashrewards outright declined my amazon cashback yesterday so bonus needed to pay as well.
