@aaronmr: I would like to think both my English and PC part comprehension are at a decent level and Roberts point isn't obvious to me either.

              • @Hinee: Yeah cause I care what you think. I know for a fact though that if every single one of your lives depended on decoding his meaning you’d have it 100% of the time within 3 seconds.

                • -1

@aaronmr: I honestly feel honoured that out of the 7 comments you've made - one of them was this dribble responding to me.

                  • @Hinee: I don't feel honored that you didn't bother acknowledging my last reply because you know it's factually true - you're the one dribbling.

  • Does the MOBO have inbuilt WI-FI?

    • +3

      It does not.

    • +1

      No, it's this one

      • -4

Any option to upgrade the mobo without impacting dispatch time?

        • +3

I wonder if you are being serious :P

        • +1

The point is that they've prebuilt them rather than allowing custom orders, so they'd have to get the motherboard replacement from their supplier which is what takes them so long ITFP.

  • +6

Thanks Luke for listening to our feedback - looking forward to more variants of the 'TechFast Express' deals

  • +2

This shows that TF is listening. Nice one Luke

  • Case: MSI MAG Forge 100R

Make sure you don't ruin your warranty going for the aesthetic.

  • +2

Good concept and quality parts here.

  • +3

Glad they’re putting part names like Titan Tech now. Guess they needed competition to get motivated.

  • +1

damn if only it was 3600 would of paid the difference

    • If you were looking at my list I missed the hard drive, but I think the 3600 would definitely be worth the extra coin. As a 3500X owner I see it struggling in certain titles, particularly AC: Odyssey and the large server Battlefield titles, and I think we'll start to see the threads being utilized more and more.

      • yep always one or 2 components i dont like

TechFast Express: PCs that ship within 3 days …

What happens if it doesn’t ship in 3 days?

    • +3

      Who knows.

My mate bought a PC from them on July 10th and it only got shipped today. That's more than the 14 business days quoted and now they're offering an express service when they can't even meet the timelines from their standard products. You'd think they'd focus on clearing the backlog and getting it back to under 14 business days rather than creating another service. What does this mean for people who buy the non-express items? Even longer wait times on top of the delays?

      • Sounds like clever marketing…I wouldn’t want to hold my breath on the delivery times.

      • I believe their delays are because they buy the components as the orders come in rather than having a stock pile, with "Techfast Express" they build a fixed number of units before selling.

      • I received my product more than 3 weeks later

    • They will. Express builds are based on stock on hand with a set configuration and nothing requires ordering, as opposed to the regular model where the estimated 14 business day handling is disclosed as an estimate dependent on various factors, and each system is fully customisable.

  • +2

Ordered one on 19 July, the status is still unfulfilled.

    • Is it possible to ask for a refund?

      • +4

You will lose 20% if you ask for a refund

    • +7

Similar situation…. Recommended the techfast fortnite system to a friend back on the 6th of July. 14 day handling time turned into 14 business days handing time that has lead to either been shipped yesterday or today (about a month from ordering)

The thing that annoyed me hearing the story was that the tech fast employee apologised for the delay and re-sent the invoice and said here show your 10 year old son on his birthday this invoice to show him his computer is coming. WOW

Won't be recommending this company again.

      • +1

I understand where you coming from however don't expect First Class services from a Budget Airline.

      • Yep, they're good at twisting words around. The only way I got my full refund was by advising to give very bad feedback on OzB.

      • Yes I agree. Cannot recommend this company for anyone who cares about good customer service. I had a great experience with them until I had problems with the PC and had to contact techfast to find a solution. After days of back and forth very slow communications I sent the PC back (I had to pay for the freight). They threatened to void the warranty if they found traces of overclocking and of course they didn’t but I still felt like I was accused and find that very unprofessional. I ended up getting the full refund (did not include the shipping I had paid for) but what a hassle. I ended up checking out Eofy deals at Aftershock and they were very accomadating almost instant replies. I ended up spending more on a higher spec rig with a much better quality case and parts and I couldn’t be more happier. Their standard warranty is 2 yrs compared to Techfast 1yr warranty and part for part replacements, they cover the shipping too. I would of been happy to spend the extra money to get the best rig from Techfast but could not stand to go through all that trouble again.

    • Good luck :D someone had to wait 8 weeks. Lol

    • That makes today business day 13 so it will be close.

      • +1

To be fair to - i made two orders, one on 16th and 18th July (13 and received shipping advice today so 14 and 13 buisness days from order. Both were altered with upgrades or swap outs so I am pretty happy to see it come through in time.

I will post an update once I receive to confirm there orders are correct and my experience.

Happy so far. Luke has been very accomodating

        • So as an update - i received both today. So shipping took 2-3 business days depending on whether you count the Wednesday afternoon.

          Haven't started them up yet.

      • If you were talking to me, a order made on the 7th of July and received on the 6th of August would be 22 business days.

Since the monitor he purchased didn't come with the delivery (lol), do you have a ETA of when you can finally fulfil the order?

  • -1

These specs with a 3700x or 3900x and i would have definitely brought one

    • -3

Then you could have “brought” it to TechFast so they could fulfil an order.

      • Don't need to be a smart ass, I forgot to turn off Auto Replace

  • Rep - considered doing a deal for more of a home office setup? Ie include wireless, something a bit future proofed (more plug and play, less gaming oriented).

    • Considering lots! Will add to the mix, thanks. Intel 10th gen is well positioned for this with non-F chips, or a low end GPU.

      • AMD would be preferred with the current price difference. And a low end GPU.

      • Can someone get back to me with my windows key please

  • What do I need to be upgrade to be editting footage and screen captures comfortably? Or would this be ok?

  • Be good if you guys gave me my windows key I paid for 🙄

    • Sounds like MSY
