Ryzen 5 3600 / ASUS TUF RX 5700 XT [B450/16G 3600/500GB/650W] $1599 + Shipping @ Cravelation

850

Due to an overwhelming number of orders, we will be suspending new orders until further notice, thank you everyone for such a grand amount of support!

Hello OzBargain!

Windows 10 Pro is activated at no extra charge

We've decided to play around with the specifications and managed to go down to a price point that should be rather comfortable with your spendings for a new PC. Please note that the Gigabyte B450 AORUS Elite does not include internal Wi-Fi / Bluetooth capability, however at this price point - you can't possibly go wrong. But if it does go wrong, then you also have the option to get the motherboard with Wi-Fi capability for $40 extra. We've ensured that we source reliable parts to your PC - and obviously, we cannot cheap out on the Power Supply.

Currently 30 units available but we will be increasing this number based on the amount of orders we receive / workload on myself - as a sole trader.

Our shipping costs are specifically tailored to your location and shipped via Sendle. As we are based in Victoria, orders within will cost much less than going interstate, this is automatically configured at checkout. Generally this maximises out at $28 unless of course, no major postal services run in your area. On the plus side, it does not go above $9.8 for Metropolitan Melbourne.

Liquid Cooling is available as an optional part to ensure that your PC does not turn into an egg fryer whilst overclocking.

Base Specifications:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core/12 Threads AM4 Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler
Motherboard: Gigabyte B450 AORUS Elite ATX
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 X 8GB) DDR4 3600
SSD: Crucial P1 500GB 3D NAND NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD

PSU: Corsair CX650M 650W 80 Plus Bronze Semi-Modular
Case: MSI ATX MAG Force 100R Tempered Glass ATX Mid-Tower

Rajeh will now spawn in the comments for your PCPartPicker list

Warranty: 1-Year Manufacturer / 3 Year PC Parts / Lifetime RAM

Bonus:
As part of AMD's Game Redemption program, the Radeon RX 5700 XT will come with both World of Warcraft Shadowlands and GodFall, redeemable yourself through a redemption code.

      NVMe SSD! :)

    • +5

If this is a retail W10P key it's being sold for less than retail, if it's OEM it's more like a $100 margin. Pretty much Titan Tech's deal, except cheaper but with 3600CL18 non-RGB RAM, QLC over TLC SSD, cheaper case, mATX board with no Wi-Fi and a worse or better power supply considering Thermaltake aren't the best. Looks good since it's the best option at $1600.

Damn no one understood that "NVM" is an abbreviation for nevermind.

Edit: well I forgot shipping give me a sec.

Made a rookie mistake of choosing a Micro ATX board. Changed to Gigabyte B450 AORUS Elite with no changes to pricing.

        Also… Thermaltake?

        • +1

Thermaltake aren't the greatest, they're usually just not quite as good as the competition. According to the the tier list on LTT forums their 80+ Gold model that Titan Tech are using is in the same tier as the Corsair CXM. It's a trade off of modularity vs efficiency, but I suppose in a prebuilt the modularity part isn't quite as important. Including shipping assuming OEM key it's around $1550 so a ~$60-80 margin. Good deal. Except now that you've changed the board it's probably narrowed further to ~$30-40. Making this a really good deal.

          • +5

@Void: Thanks for the clarification Rajeh! Always appreciate seeing you on all PC posts.

Are you able to change the motherboard on PCPartPicker?

            • +1

@nxllson: Well I can't edit it since it's been commented on but I checked staticice and it's been going for $189, so that's another $40 to the value. Making it a ~$20-30 margin if W10P is $50. Obviously you could go dodgier, but we're not going there.

              • +1

@Void: Nope, never going to the dodgy area of W10P keys!

                • +3

@nxllson: Woah I just went to check your site and you listened to A LOT of things here if not all. Bravo!

  • +23

    I'm dying hahaha

    Seems like a good deal

  • +3

Upgrades seem very reasonable. Would definitely pay $20 more for the upgraded Gold PSU and possibly $80 NVME 1tb upgrade.

  • -1

Tempting, but the lack of a B550 mobo (and therefore lack of PCIe Gen 4 SSD) and the potential power of the incoming RTX 3000 series mean this isn't quite as future-proofed as I'd like. Great price for the base system, though! :)

    • +3

Why would you need Gen 4? It's not realistically going to be necessary for newer titles. A decent Gen 3 drive with over 1GB/s should be perfect for texture streaming if it becomes a thing. RTX 3000 though…

      • -1

It's not about need so much as want, but who knows? We haven't even begun to explore the potential for it, and I'd rather have a motherboard that has it rather than one that doesn't. I've been burned before by not having features included on a component that have proved almost mandatory just a few years down the road. But as I said, it's a great system!

        • Definitely a great system, and I too would like PCIe 4.0 support, but at the price premium it's at I can't recommend paying extra solely for it. I guess it's like the argument that the 2060 Super is better than the 5700 XT because of DLSS 2.0, only time will tell.

          • @Void: Absolutely, at this price point, it's not necessary, which is why I'm building my own system despite seeing all the nice prebuilts getting on OzB recently. Only possible option I'd add to their upgrade path is a 7200RPM drive in the HDD section, like the WD Gold/Black or Barracuda Pro. I'm looking at a 6TB drive for my next system, considering how incredibly large games are getting - ARK: Survival Evolved with various DLCs and high res texture packs easily cracks 200GB, as does Warzone. That being said, the new AMD StoreMI 2.0 might tempt me to get a 5400RPM drive and then fang in a cheap NVMe SSD as the cache drive.

            • +1

@exnihil0: Yeah my Toshiba P300, an entry level 7200rpm drive, suffers in open world games. I've just had a 128GB M.2 SSD lying around but I have no slots!

    • Why do prebuilts need to be future proof. Everyone I know who buys prebuilts just buy a new prebuild after a couple years. I think you should choose parts based on the market.

      • -1

Most people who buy prebuilts eventually ascend to a higher level of PC knowledge.

        • +2

Eh,the PC gaming climate has really changed over the years. If you told me this statement 5 years ago I would be inclined to agree but now you don't need to be a hobbyist level enthusiast (or even ascend to that) to enjoy PC gaming. I've seen plenty of kids just buy pre-built PCs to play fortnite or what ever game their favourite youtuber is playing and they don't see the technology as anything different to their console or mobile phone.

  • +1

I would suggest adding a better cooler to that, since the stealth cooler really isnt that good. At the minimum I'd recommend this if you dont want to go via liquid cooling. This site should give you an idea of the comparison between both coolers.

Overall its a solid build op, have recommended this to my friends.

    • +4

      Good suggestion!

I've added it as an upgrade at $45 (the $39 price on MWave doesn't include the $10 shipping). Thank you for the recommendation!

      • As a 3500X owner the Stealth is fine for most users. At full load it has an annoying vrrrrrr that it makes but I've never noticed it in gaming, and it doesn't break 80c, but the option is definitely welcome.

        • +1

Yep have a 3500x in this case and was getting 80deg.
Went corsair AIO and chillin in Verdansk now.

  • +5

nice pre-build! it's good that we have more competition with seller that's familiar with Ozb community code and can tolerate saltiness :P

    • +1

Thank you! Have been lurking around and posting in the rather-interesting OzBargain community, only recently decided to enter the PC Building competition.

  • +1

    Good deal

  • +4

Pretty impressive price although it's a new vendor. Hope deals like this continue.

Parts cost for those interested minus the Windows 10 Pro Key.

  • When will PayPal be added to the website?

    • +6

Adding PayPal as a payment method would mean that we'd have to increase the pricing of the systems. PayPal charges fees that are currently not viable within the pricing of any of the PCs listed on the site to keep costs low for both the consumer and myself - however it will be considered in the future.

I am happy to provide official receipts/invoices upon request.

  • +6

Techfast got more competition, which is good for OzBargain.

    • +1

Techfast vs Titan Tech and now a new challenger enters the ring. I would buy a computer off the retail which would win a physical fight if they're open to it. Boxing, MMA, Muay Thai I don't really mind.

      • haha

      • Build the system your self and educate your self to how to build, it quiet fun learning how to build a PC from zero (from personal experience)

        Youtube is your best friend

Amazon is your store (if you done wrong (damaged any of part) just return it - return is very easy with Amazon + 1 month free return)

        • +4

True. Just make sure you don't follow The Verge's PC Building video.

          • @nxllson: Ummm…why not? I think it's completely acceptable to apply that much thermal paste ;P

            • @Frayin: and create a tsunami of thermal paste? Ah yes. The more thermal paste = the better :O

            • +1

@Frayin: How can you forget live strong arm bands for static grounding. Verge achieved pinnacle of pc building experience.

        • I am kinda more in it for the fight. Like I reckon techie people are either terrible at combat sports or amazing.

        • I like building, but in an intermittent error in one of the parts (like, say the Corsair PSU) will leave you wishing that you'd paid a few bucks extra to have someone else build it for you and thus have those headaches instead.

Building is fun, bit it's not for everyone.

          • @mickeyjuiceman: Buy motherboard with QLED, if problem arise then refer to which parts has the error.

  • Hi there,

    Interested in talking further… couple q !

    Where are you located?
Do you have a store front?
    How many years warranty?
    Can you do individual makes?

    Best,

    • Sent you a private message.

      • Could you answer here? I'm curious about it too, thx

        • +4

We will not be opening a storefront in the near future due to COVID-19 Restrictions and the fact that we do not have enough products to do so. We are located in Sunshine North, Victoria 3020. Further details can be found under Cravelation under "About Us" on the website.

Parts come with an approximate 3 year warranty with the exception of the RAM, coming with unlimited warranty. There is also a 1 year manufacturer's warranty. Individual makes can be done, let me know what kind.

WOW I was about to order from titan tech today and now this comes up
    Too much to consider.

      Hey Chris,

All our details can be found here. We have all the above included in the "About Us" dropdown box on the menu list.

      • -2

Thanks, but there’s no dropdown menu for iPadOS safari users on your site.
Also, I don’t see anything about the who pays for the shipping on warranties.

        • +2

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. All menus have been updated for mobile users - as well as our refund & returns policy to better reflect warranty information.

    • +3

        I did.
No drop down menu appears for me. Using iPadOS safari. See screenshot above.

  • Sooo not possible to get a option to get a diff mobo with wifi ? I dnt live near the the router its in the front of the house

Sorry i dont know much about computers

    Thank you

    • +1

      Hey Quachyy,

I'll add these options now to create better flexibility for people who don't have access to Ethernet.

    • You can get a wifi stick pretty cheaply these days that'll plug into one of your USB ports, it's an easy upgrade that works with any system. They're as cheap as $25 at Officeworks and other big retailers if you're okay with lower wifi speeds.

      • +1

I'm like Quachyy and I'm sure the rest of the majority of the market share that would prefer a mobo that has wifi

    • +2

We've now updated the listing. The same motherboard but with manufacturer Wi-Fi capability has been added for an extra $40.

Alternatively, a 300Mbps WiFi PCIe adapter can be installed for you at $25.

  • What's standard shipping time to Melb Metro?

    • 0-1 days to most areas of Melbourne Metro. However as this is custom-made, estimated turn around time would be approximately 2-3 weeks.

Shipping to Melbourne Metro is $9.6~ish.

      • oh so these aren't already built ready for shipping?

I checked on your site and it said 1-2 days for shipping to Syd which seems very optimistic considering how VIC is right now.

        • +1

Included the "From Dispatch" for a reason! I run another business that has totalled over 600+ Sendle orders. Bulky items generally reach Metropolitan Sydney within 1-2 days quite easily.

Yep, they're made to order. However, our backlog isn't as big as TechFast's ;)

  • Keep the deals coming nxllson - I'm very much in the market and I'm loving the PC deals hitting OzB at the moment. It's good seeing a longtime commenter getting involved in deals and the lols too.

  • +1

Wow, I'd say this is a better deal than recent techfast deals. Competition is always good.

  • +3

How many damn cargo ships of MAG 100R's have arrived into this country recently? haha

  • Could someone do a head to head between this and https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/556619?
Looking at Rajeh…. but hoping others will join in

    • Most parts between both are similar.

If you pick this deal, and choose the same upgrades to the Wifi board (+$40), gold rated PSU (+$20) + Deepcool Matrexx (+$49) case it works out to be 95% similar.

This deal works out to be $9 more expensive.

Titan tech has RGB ram (which is only very slightly slower) and slightly better SSD and immediate delivery.

This deal comes with windows activated, not sure how they are activating it so I've left it out and assume you can pay 5$ for a windows 10 licence of ebay or know how to run a windows 10 activator.

If I had to pick between the 2, I'd recommend the titan tech deal.. unless you really really need to save the $100.

    • +1

Changes from Cravelation -> Titan Tech IT

      • 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) motherboard to boot, Cravelation charge an extra $40 for it.

      • RGB RAM but not quite as fast, should be a 2-3% difference at best.

      • TLC SSD over Cravelation's QLC SSD. Both will last until 500GB is tiny so you shouldn't base your purchase off of this.

      • Slightly more efficient 80+ Gold power supply, but being non-modular will be more difficult to work with if you plan on moving it to a new system. Cravelation charge an extra $20 for a both 80+ Gold and modular power supply.

      • Arguably better case.

      • +1

argh. I am so confused now. I came to purchase the Titan Tech today and now this comes up.

When i add and upgrade everything to similar specs:

Cravelation - $2,012 [Upgrading Mobo, Liquid Cooling, RAM, Case, PSU]
Titan Tech - $1,929 [Keeping everything standard, except for the Watercooling]

The difference of $83 gets me:
        - An activated copy of Windows 10
        - CoolerMaster ML240 over Deepcool L240
        - Deepcool Matrexx 55 over Deep Cool Matrexx 50
        - 650W Gold PSU vs 600W Gold PSU

I guess i need to figure out if an $83 price difference is worth the above mentioned differences?

        • +3

It's more of a $64 price difference since the RGB RAM is actually a performance downgrade, I'd keep the 3600CL18 kit that comes standard with Cravelation's build. The Matrexx 55 has a mesh front panel, so it will have better airflow at the expense of looks. I'd probably just get Cravelation's with the Gammaxx 400 over the AIO, a PSU upgrade and a motherboard upgrade, there won't be a large difference between the two, with liquid you're paying for looks and decreased longevity.

          • @Void: Thank you so much mate! Really helpful! +1

            • @DKZ370: Let me know if you'd like any assistance or custom changes to the PC to fit your price range! :)

        • I was the same today. Thew a spanner in the works but I'm now leaning towards the TT option as they're in Syd. Would of been good if they included Windows.

  • +1

Rajeh will now spawn in the comments for your PCPartPicker list

    Take my upvote!

  • +2

Your upgrade prices are actually good and accurately reflect the price difference. If you could reduce the base price and maybe add more case options it would be even better. But this deal is still really good. Oh and also maybe another 5700XT card option like thee Gigabyte or Sapphire model if possible.

    • +1

Always trying to keep costs low for the consumer. I'll consider the Gigabyte/Sapphire option if I manage to strike a nice deal.

      • No worries. Maybe chuck in a 1tb ssd in this system for the same price if you can. Also, good job on offering Windows 10 at no extra charge.

        • The TUF EVO X3 is a very solid midrange 5700 XT model. Not to be confused with the non-EVO variant which runs loud and hot. The Sapphire Pulse is actually worse, and the Gigabyte Gaming OC tied or a little better. If it were to be worth your while it'd have to be a PowerColor Red Devil or Sapphire Nitro+.

          • @Void: Yeah but wasn't that when the fans were ramped all the way up? The Sapphire and Gigabyte Models run at lower temps when the fans run at a lower RPM?

            • @WinstonWithAY: Not the Sapphire at least. As long as by Sapphire you mean the Pulse. Remember we're talking about the EVO, the non-EVO spun 2300rpm for 76c, this new one spins 1800rpm for 64c. The Pulse spins 2200rpm for 67c.

Edit: Checked the full roundup, it's on par or a tiny bit better than Gaming OC too.

      • I also wanted to ask if the 3700X upgrade option would come with the wraith RGB cooler pre installed? Also, will the system come with all the manuals and other accessories that come with the components normally?

        Thanks again

        • Yes! The 3700X upgrade option will come with its included RGB Wraith Prism Cooler. The system will come with all manuals needed, but in order to save on shipping - original product boxes, with the exception of the PC being shipped inside of the tower box will not be included; unless requested - and of course, attracts additional charges.

          Thanks for the questions!

      • I wish you guys success in this area, your pricing on the product and upgrades are competitive.

  • +1

    Welcome to OzB!
Always good to see a new business and more competition.

Best of luck to you & your new business!

    • Been here since 2013!

Thank you for the kind words :)

  • +2

Hi mate, you come across super genuine and I'm keen to go ahead with a system but at the same time a little wary of transferring nearly 2 grand into the account of a brand new business with no shop front that was only registered 2 days ago. I'm all for supporting the smaller guys and good on you for getting amongst it here on ozbargain but can you provide any further details re your business, referees or anything else that might help?

    • +1

Messaged you with some more details and other stores that I run! :)

For anyone else interested in ordering and are being held back due to our new we are, message me as well and I'll help get it sorted right away.

      • Could I get some details too please? I'm interested in ordering.

        • Sure! PM'd you.

  • +1

Would be nice if there was a 2070 Super option. Is the RX 5700 XT still as bad as everyone makes it out to be?

    • I'll release a RTX 2070 Super option soon! The ASUS TUF RX 5700 XT is new and improved, and although still not the best cooling, it does fit in the top 8 RX 5700 XT cards out there.

    • You can see Steve from Hardware Unboxed's videos on the topic, every person he knows who has a 5700 XT including his daughters hasn't encountered a single issue. Children not encountering an issue says a lot. I haven't either. I'm going to chalk it up to fanboys and users who don't know how to troubleshoot properly. Too many times on reddit have I had to tell people their issue ISN'T the drivers, and I've resolved the issue every time too. Pre-adrenalin 20.2.2 was a different story, black screens and flickering was a real thing, but now the "driver issues" just aren't there anymore apart from some small minorities like people who watch 8K video or have 5 monitors.

      • What's the equivalent NVIDIA? 2070?

        • They have no true equivalent, it lies between the 2060S/2070 and the 2070S/2080.

          • @Void: Interesting thanks. Higher the better is for me considering I'm sucked into Star Citizen. That'll suck up 16GB RAM in a heartbeat.

  • +1

I got excited for a moment and preparing to spawn whinge that TechFast Cravelation has listed one of the worst 5700XT ever reviewed

Then I realised its actually the revised EVO version which is very decent card - Damn! you took away my spawn :D

Good Deal - looking forward to a 3300x/2060Super deal

Edit: This is embarrassing, you are not Luke from Techfast, I blame the MSI Case thumbnail LOL

    • +1

      D:

Don't worry I blame the similar looking title too. Let me know if the 3300X / RTX 2060 Super is something you'd like to negotiate!

      • Welcome to OZB!

Yes, either 3300x or 3600 with a 2060Super and Windows activation is not required so you could offer better discount.

Also if you can provision, maybe 128gb SSD to lower the cost even more (as most of us can bring our storage)

        • +1

I believe they already have a 3600 + 2060 Super combo on their site for $1529.
