Used to be $750 ish last week. I ordered it, and just realized it dropped in price. Working out with Amazon how to get the difference.

Looks like a decent set of tools for a good price.

  • The Delivery Price is abit High $112.67, Also does the charger work with 220v Mains?

    • Sorry, I didn't check. Its free delivery with Amazon prime.

20V is a USA standard for there Dewalt power-tools. AU voltage is 18V.

Not sure if the charger will be the same. Check before you buy

    • They are the same voltage batteries.
Just a marketing term as over here they have to advertise nominal voltage not peak as they do in America.

Only concern is if the charger accepts 240v or not.

    • Dewalt 18v and 20v are the same, just the marketing thing. In the same way 10.8v is same as 12v

    • It states that it is a Dewalt DCB112 Charger

      According to following amazon link:
      https://www.amazon.com/12-Volt-20-Volt-Lithium-Ion-Battery-C…

"Input: 100V-260V 50/60Hz 0.6A, Output: 22V 2.0A, our Li-ion battery charger features quick charging and a LED indicator to display charging status: charged, charging, battery too hot or too cold. NOTE: it won't light up(flash) until you have the battery plugged"

So I hope it works, because I ordered it.

4 tools and a flashlight seems more appropriate

    • +3

The fifth tool is the purchaser.

  • OP, just do live chat, normally they are pretty helpful that way

    • Did. Since its amazon US, they cant refund. I have to do the long way of return and rebuy. Waste of everyones time and money, but thats what they want.

  • One thing to take note of is warranty coverage as well. I almost bought a weber once but weber australia mentioned they don't take warranty claims for overseas items. Good to check with Dewalt.

2.11 Products purchased from an unauthorized DEWALT reseller, including on-line trading companies or individuals (e.g. Trading Post, eBay etc) that are not authorized DEWALT resellers in Australia, New Zealand or the South Pacific Islands.

So is Amazon US website an online trading company?

It would be better to buy Dewalt products from any Dewalt resellers.

I recently asked a Dewalt rep about warranty on Dewalt products sold on Amazon, and he said items from Amazon wouldn't be covered here in Australia.

So in other words, Amazon are not an authorized DEWALT reseller in Australia

  • Only a single tiny 2Ah battery included which won't last long. I'd feel a bit more interested if it was at least 4Ah.

    • Weird, photo shows 2 batteries (1 on drill 1 on impact driver)

But I think you are right, description only says 1) DCB203 20V MAX* Lithium Ion Battery

      • 2ah battery will last 5 minutes in a grinder

    • 2Ah is fine for the drill though.

  • I'm after a circular saw and grinder. Have a Dewalt 54v 6aH battery already. But I just don't want the drills etc and then it ends up pricey

The charger is also a USA plug…

    • ^^ This..

Also, if you tried to use it on a job site, i highly doubt u could get it tagged/tested if you had it hanging off a universal power plug adaptor worth 50c..

Easy enough to change the mains plug though.. So long as it's 100v-240v input..

  • not brush-less, something to keep in mind if your buying a kit like this and plan to get into a ecosystem

    • wow thats a bit of sting given my $49 Chinese makita knock off impact driver is brushless.
