Just saw an ad on TV for Buy one get one free Digital cameras + Other deals. Similar to the 'buy one get one free Laptops' I guess.

Ends Tues 1st (Its some Melbourne Cup Sale or something)

    Already bought a ft3 months ago.
    With that cannon can you zoom while in video mode?
    Also is it nb-6l battery? low light photos any good?
    Have a 14mp ixus camera alreadly and not really impressed with it.

      Which Canon are you talking about? Am I right in assuming you're talking about the G12? To answer your questions:
      1. There is no re-focus function once you've begun shooting in movie mode, hence there is no optical zoom, just digital zoom, which may degrade the quality of the footage if used in excess.
      2. Battery used in a G12 is the NB-7L.
      3, Low light photography is quite acceptable for a P&S, though noise starts becoming fairly evident above ISO 400.
