Just saw an ad on TV for Buy one get one free Digital cameras + Other deals. Similar to the 'buy one get one free Laptops' I guess.

    Arghhh tried calling a bunch HN stores in Sydney, especially the less busy ones, and even they've sold out of the HX9V and XZ-1.

    Don't bother calling:

    Liverpool, Mt Druitt, Chatswood, Campbelltown, Wiley Park, Auburn (both),McGraths HIll, Caringbah

    If anyone has a spare HX9V or XZ-1 they want to offload, I'm more than willing to take it off their hands. I'm in Sydney of course, but willing to pay for interstate shipping. PM me

      Mine was a display unit but in brand new condition. IMHO, $250 is a no brainer for a P&S with such specs.

    Got myself some Canon Ixus 220s - awesome price :D

    Got JB to price match because I wanted red and every HN I called was out of red. JB's price was 236 - 10%, so HN's $124.50 was about $90 cheaper!

    Girl said the sale lost $130, which sounds completely right. No clue how HN's doing this. Even if you're selling warranties and overpriced memory cards, it'd be bloody hard to even break even on a sale like that.

    EDIT: Then again, the 220s were one of the few cameras on sale that HN had at a price where even if you got one, it would be competitive-ish.

    I bought 2 nikon aw100 after reading very good reviews of them, they pretty much top of the range the best rugged weatherproof cameras u cAn get. Beats the panasonic ft3 in most reviews I read.

    I just bright the Sony HS7V for $224 from bondi junction, was planing on getting the 9V but they were all out, still some heaps of stock there on most items.

    They are doing it at half price instead of 1 for free if you dont want the hassle of selling it on ebay.
