Another price drop. Was $59, then $58, then $54 and now $49.

This price drop is due to price matching Mighty Ape who have reduced their price from $59 to $55 and now $49 + $5.90 Delivery.

If you already preordered on Amazon in the past, you don't need to do anything, as per their pre order guarantee, when it ships you only get charged the cheapest price it was listed as.

        Just spoke with Amazon chat. They are saying they didn't get their copies in time and so my delivery date was going to be next tuesday (hadn't even shipped yet) and I preordered in May. I cancelled the order, hopefully I can get a copy somewhere today.

          If this is the case, I might cancel and pay the extra $5 to have it today too. Now I remembered why I shouldn't preorder. I'm not sure why I made an exception for this game. stock was never going to be an issue.

              @TightTerry: That's fair. I spoke with customer service and he promised that would be delivered on Monday after I asked to cancel the order. We will see I guess.

          I understand CS told you that, but personally I feel like it's a load of bs. I've preordered probably 10 or so games over the last couple years from Amazon, and only once has one shipped early enough before the release date to arrive on time, others were all either a day just before release, on day of release, and in this and one other case, a day (or three) AFTER release date. Personal experience, but I just doubt, especially seeing how people have said they already have theirs, hell in a couple cases in this thread, a day early! Might cancel and spend a few bucks more to buy it elsewhere now.

          EDIT: Couldn't cancel Amazon preorder as it was in "advanced shipping stage", and Amazon CS tried to tell me I only chose standard shipping… had to email screenshot proof that I chose expedited delivery, as I'm a Prime member. Eventually got that through to them and got a $10 credit for the delay. Still annoying, but whatever. Likely won't preorder games through Amazon anymore after this.

          Hit up their customer support live chat and explain that you ordered with expedited delivery (I'm assuming you use Prime?) and see if they'll compensate at all. I got a $10 credit out of it.

    My order has not been shipped by Amazon yet either after pre order back in April. Frustrating they have said won't ship until next week and blamed not being able to dispatch/deliver in time due to couriers cutting their hours and shifts due to COVID…
