        HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

A few days ago people will neg vote you. Not today.

It's hilarious to see people trying to offload their 1080TIs for $1000 on FB right now hahaha

    • Hahahahahahahahahaha

  • +17

cant justify the 2070 when the 3070 is around Oct for $809 with yuuuge performance boost

    • +3

True, and the 3070 cost $809 AUD and faster than the 2080ti which cost $1499 atm.

      • +1

Funny that nvidia are gonna be the ones to break their own GFX economy

        • they have had MANY years of screwing us all over with no competition with same gen video cards for extremely high prices. The 1060 was released in July 2016 and is STILL faster than most cards around the $300 mark!!

      • +2

1499? I thought 2080 ti are more than $2000 and over?

    • that's what everyone is thinking so it'll be gone like them airpods from eBay when released

    • Is it a official price?

      • From nVidias own website yes. Retail will probably mark up because of Corona and supply issues though so…

  • +10

Retailers scrambling to offload 20 series stock lmao.

    • +2

but that's not even that big of discount..

      • +5

yeah that's what makes this even more a joke. My comment was more general. You will see plenty of GPU deals pop up over the next few days lol. Probably still wont be worth it unless it's like 40%+ off.

        • +2

This is going to be fun to watch…. basically 2080Ti should be these prices (or there about)…we'll see if the benchmarks back up the launch claims from Jensen ..

          • +2

@scud70: Yup if the 3070 is putting it 2080ti numbers but with better ray tracing…

2080ti prices better fall like a grandma down a staircase

            • @Telios: aaye i love my grandma and she has no stairs at her place thankfully hahaha

but yeh .. world of hurt for the recent 2080Ti purchasers

      • +3

That's the point, they're taking the opportunity to sell them at high prices before RTX 3000 is actually available.

        • There he is! .. you been too quiet lately!

    • +3

Not just retailers.. seen some scrambling on Buy/Sell Swap groups on facebook too!

  • i should go through every wait for GPU announcement messages i've posted… LOL …

  • +8

You would be kicking yourself if you bought a RTX2000 series recently. No deal here lol.

  • +1

What about the Ssd pricing? Worth the price or better to look elsewhere?

    • look else where. Can get Western Digital Black SSD cheaper

  • +3

Anyone that posts a 20 series GPU now for anything over half the price is just kidding themselves.

Bad luck people who put them on FB today…. should have done it 2 months ago….

    • People still pay the high price for it.

      • +3

if someone really pays for it knowing 3K series to be released soon with the similar pricing, they deserve to be ripped off to be honest….sad but true

  • Seriously though, that 2070s at this price point is very misleading. Someone might fall for it.

  • with 3000 series around the corner to be released , what would they think to publish such deals?!?! people are not dumb , already know that retailers are offloading 2K series…lol
I was about to buy a laptop on the day we could stack coupons on dell website but left it for 3K series to come.
2000 Series is a good deal now if around 30-40% off at minimum , IMO

  • everyones talking about GPUs but did anyone hear about "DirectStorage" faster loading for gaming like the PS5/XSX. I NEED A FAST NVME :) Hoping for prices to fall harder on them NVME for next gen gaming
