i had ebay credit and i processed i got confirmation page from ebay that i purchaed. then in my purchased history it says order did not go through that is ridiculous ? i have screenshot that its procssed with order no then how come they cancle when it went through ? i send them email asking explanation ?
It's a side effect of a highly scaled computer system, which they need to have in order to handle the volume of traffic - thousands of transactions per second.
Basically not all of the buyers are connected to the same eBay server. When the servers all sync they have to 'balance the books'.

That's not an inevitable effect of the scaling but rather a choice they made. Either a bug they are too lazy to track down to fix or they know how to fix it and don't want to spend the $$$ to do so.
Any stock exchange in the world can deal with that many transactions (the big ones with orders of magnitude more) and things like this just don't happen in that context.

Calm down, it's not a scam, it's just what happens when a high load computer system is scaled, things can get out of sync.
