This is just the accessories only?

Any good deal on the Dremel it self?

    • There was about a month ago, like $150,or so.
      Expired now though.

    • Any good deal on the Dremel it self?

Make sure you get an Australian one. I've heard the ones from the US and Europe spin in the opposite direction.

Only if you are holding it at the wrong end.

THE DREMMEL IS NOT GOOD FOR 1INCH STEEL BARS JUST FYI. THE HACK SAW IS MUCH BETTER.

Looking to break out of siverwater jail?

      • OK KOOL MAN

      • also not great as a hammer :D

    forgot cashback… argh

    • +1

Try cancelling and reordering if you can

    • I remembered cashback but used cashrewards (6%) instead of shopback (7.5%). Your comment made me feel a bit better lol

  • do Dremel parts fit ozito rotary tools?

    • Almost certainly. Dremel (and most rotary tool) bits have a 1/8" (3.2mm) shaft. Check your Ozito tool specs.

      • Ryobi too?

        • Yes, I have many dremel bits that suit ryobi one+ rotary

    • Have a look for some different size collets on eBay. I have a bunch that came with the Aldi rotary tool kit and I put all sorts of things in my dremel, including bits of wood on the ends of nails for shaping leather etc. I am regretting spending the money on a dremel brand tool instead of generic tbh

    • Yes. I have been using that exact set up recently. You just need the Dremel mandrel (that appears to come as part of this pack).

Got exited. Thought included the dremel

    • -5

The pics in the link clearly show that it's included…

      • +4

Is the model plane, severed hand, newspaper, and carpet included as well?

  • Awesome - nice find!

  • Thanks for that.

  • Thanks. Night the crap craft kit at Bunnings. $20 big regret

    • the dremel branded bits are just as shit as craftright ones anyway imo

      • Ah shit. Cancel?

  • I would like to use dremel branded bits but can't justify the price vs my usage lol. Mostly do grinding for rust and paint removal (I do love restoration) and occasional cutting. So shitty craft right bits do my job.

If I'd work something valuable, I'd go for the good bits. I'm poor and I don't mind changing the bits frequently lol

I read once on Reddit a LPT that was to replace broken tools with more expensive ones, and replace lost tools with cheap ones. If you break a tool that means you've used it enough to warrant getting a better quality one for future use, whereas if you have lost a tool then you don't necessarily need a better one. If you have neither lost or broken a tool then you don't need a new one regardless.

      • I liked it! Look forward to run out of crappy cutting discs then lol

      • +2

You sure it was Reddit? That actually sounds like a good LPT, not the usual "how to be a decent person" LPT the site is inundated with.

    Are these okay for teeth?

    • Sure try a steel wire disk

      • Great thanks

    • +2

Sure. Who needs an electric oral b toothbrush when you got a dremel?

    • Low RPM setting.

      • +2

Ain't nobody got time for low RPM

    • Look for the DremelDent model.

  • For those who are interested in the EZ545 bit.
I found this one from Amazon, looks to be the same one selling in AU for $74.

  • Anyone know how to use the bits with a cordless drill (without the actual Dremel unit as I don’t have one)? I have few Tradie drills. Thanks

    • I doubt any drill spins fast enough to use Dremel bits plus you would also lose the benifit of control a Dremel style tool gives.

  • Just a PSA, the sanding bits are the greatest thing I've found for removing dry skin from your feet, as well as calluses. Just keep it moving as it can get a bit hot otherwise.

A man of culture this guy.

  • It's tempting, would definitely buy if not for postage.

  • Bunnings has the Ozito kit including the rotor for 69.90. Not sure how it compares with this though?

  • I have to say, the EZ lock system from Dremel is so much better than any other fittings I've come across. They're easy to change, and never slip or fall off during use, as I've always suffered in the past with any sort of cutting disk that uses a screw down with washer method that is common with cutting fittings

  • is there a way to choose the European kit?
