  • How does this one compare to the Ozito PXCBLS-018?

    • 36V v 18V, higher no load speed, 2.5kg v 1.35kg, presumably more air volume, brushless motor

  • Already one on gumtree for $100 xD.

  • Ordered one. I already have 4 ozito batteries which I got with my mower. Had to pay $10 for delivery though. But still a good price.

  • Already got 2 ozito cordless blowers.. just ordered my third.
Now I'll have the 18v workshop one, 18v garden one and 36v jet one

    • Plenty of options to choose the right tool for the job!

Great I was just looking for a nice little dust blower to clean my pc.

This is a new promo item we received for spring, not a clearance item. Price was $29.98 from the get go. In saying that I did a double take when doing the tickets as it seemed too cheap. Plenty of stock Fyshwick ACT. :)

    • +1

Any other cheap Ozito spring promos you have seen?

  • 2nd guessing myself , I need to get a battery and charger to go with this right , if I have neither I might as well buy the kit for $99 ?

    • Yeah I would suggest to wait and buy the kit with the batteries if you don’t have any spare ones

    • My thoughts are the same however I can’t see the kit on the website at all either for $99 or regular price. Might just buy the skin and hold off until battery/charger are on sale but seems to be not often.

    • actually the $99 was a different version , just bit the bullet and bought with battery/ charger separate

      • Which battery kit did you get?
        Have a link?

        • it wasnt a kit just bought separately

  • Can't seem to get it to come up online any more

  • I can confirm that you won’t see any available stock on the website. The lady at bunnings couldn’t see any on stock.
I went to Bunnings Kirrawee a few minutes ago and there plenty left in the garden section.

  • Plenty stock at Melton

  • No stock in Rouse Hill, NSW

      • Thanks, got one. Still more at Dural.

Matt881: Leaf blowers are much more 'whiny' than lawnmowers or edge trimmers. And both of these achieve something, though not much that's too useful. But mostly, the 98% of blokes who use them will spend 15 minutes blowing two leaves into the gutter on a windy day. I wish I'd seen this listing before the rest of the people here, whom I used to respect, bought these toys. I'd have bought all of these 'leaf and dust movers' and sent them to China or… anywhere but my neighbourhood. Yes, I'm one of those people who would love to be able to buy a pellet projectile so I could silence these 'men's toys' when they are being used to do nothing more than make noise. And don't even mention the selfish guys who wear ear protection!

    • +1

You're welcome to come pickup the thousands of leaves off my lawn, pavement, walking areas, gutters etc. What a neighborhood you must reside in. :)

  • +2

Seems the one I got was made in 2017 and also was the old red colour so perhaps trying to clear old stock

  • +1

A pallet-load in Bayswater WA, in centre of shop. (Not in the aisle where the website says.)

Also, next to it a $199 vac/mulcher/blower kit with 2x 2.5AHr batteries and chargers. Not bad if you need the batteries, and can't wait for the $49 drill kit promo, or ALDI price-match.

The best use I have for my old 18V blower is clearing all the twigs and pebbles from a campsite, before putting up the big tent. So much more effective and faster than using a rake and broom!

    • Can you please tell me when the aldi drill kit goes on sale? Thanks Bro

  • Do we need 2 batteries to operate ??

    • +1

      Yes. Preferably in same capacity

      • I have 1.5ah and 4ah. Will that still work? I only need a few minutes run time.

        • +2

Yes. Just dont run it till it's dead or you'll destroy the smaller battery

        • I would advise against doing this, since the batteries have different discharge capacity and will put extra load on one of them.
Better to buy another 4.0ah battery as 1.5ah is a bit small for this blower and you might not be able to get the full power from it, specially on boost.

  • Just picked up one from Bunnings Robina.
Not marked as clearance, in fact not marked at all, but scanned at $29.98 at checkout.
    They had about 10 left.

  • +2

Gladeville NSW Bunnings has some stocks

    • Thanks mate! If anyone else is looking for them, they're upstairs in the nursery section for some reason. Still quite a lot as of this evening

  • +1

Thanks OP. 20 left at Caringbah NSW. In the promo section 2nd floor after escalators

  • Asked at Springfield (Brisbane) store, said pricing error and they had 15 which were being kept out the back and unavailable to sell… Grrr

    • +1

      Show them the link.

    • +1

Do a click and collect order.

There is no pricing error, the staff member probably wants to resell them to supplement their wage.

    • It's in the printed catalogue now, should finally believe you :)

  • +5

Just picked mine up from Nunawading store.

    Here's a quick comparison review:
I have the ozito cordless 18v workshop vacuum which is no more powerful than a hair dryer.
I also have the ozito cordless 18v garden blower which is slightly more powerful but very noisy.
I also have a xu2 (I think that's the brand) corded blower and vacuum. This is very powerful but very noisy. I only use it for the vacuum mulch feature.

Now I have this ozito cordless 36v jet blower. This is the most powerful out of all 4 blowers I have. It also is one of the quietest. Given this is using a huge fan/motor compared to the rest, the sound levels seem to be minimised. It sounds like a jet engine but is not loud compared to the other three which have an Annoying drone.
Time will tell how quickly it drains my 3Ah batteries.

For $30 this is a no brainer to buy assuming you already have batteries.

Yes you need to use it with 2 batteries else it won't work with just one.

  • +2

looks like you can order from Brisbane stores now. ordered via click and collect!

  • What is the normal price?

    • +1

I paid $149 for it in 2018. Skin only.

      • Hope you bought another one for $30 and then returned it with your $149 receipt if you still have it.

  • Just picked up online order at Melville WA. They had a pile of 12 behind counter and I asked if they hadn’t been put out yet and they said no they were just online orders from today.

  • Anyone come up with a half decent way to use Milwaukee batteries in this? Can't find anything on thingiverse to print. Might need to start hacking and see what I come up with.

    • +1

FYI I cut out a couple notches from the Milwaukee battery and it slots in fine. Not as good as my brother's Makita 36v blower but for $30 and 5 year warranty good deal.

      • I have Milwaukee batteries as well. Would you mind sharing where you cut the notches and is there any effect on the fit with Milwaukee tools after notching them?

        Cheers.

        • +1

These 4 areas i've marked in red. Just cut them down flush, i just used a stanley knife but a small dremel would probably be easier.

          • +1

@1jwoz: Thanks for that. I will grab a battery later and check it out.

            Cheers.

  • At least 12 left at Batemans Bay (NSW) this evening

  • Picked up from marsden park tonight. At least 10 left.
Will give it a go tomorrow

  • Still 10 left at Tuggeranong (ACT) at lunch time today, and even now is showing stock at all ACT stores. This is a super bargain. I tried to get a replacement for mine which stopped working only about 4 months ago, and couldn't find stock anywhere. But I got a full refund of my previous purchase price. Have now bought 2 more in case 1 stops, and am still in front :) Also, for those on the fence with this, buy it now and wait for the next Aldi sale. Usually the 4AH batteries are price matched, bringing them down to $39 each. (they were even $29 each at one stage last year).

And for those wondering about the power of them, it's amazing. When you press the turbo boost button, it's stronger than any of the corded models. And you get at least 10 minutes from 2 batteries, even using it on continuous boost mode. I have heaps of batteries now so it doesn't matter if it doesn't last all that long. It's a great blower.

  • Hello friends , Can I use one 2.5Ah battery which I got with the impact drill set and then purchase another 2Ah battery for $35 or so to run this machine. Since they don’t seem to sell 2.5Ah battery on its own for some reason.

    • Yes. I have a 1.5Ah and a 2.5 Ah. It works effortlessly.

  • Hope I can get one as I've been wanting one for a while.

Not sure why it didn't come up on the feed as I've been subscribed to Bunnings deals?

Chatswood nsw had about 15 left at 2pm Thursday. Located in middle isle.

  • A whole pallet availiable at Minchinbury NSW - Picked one up, great value!

  • +1

I went to Chatswood NSW bunnings last night and did not see any. This morning its on their website https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-2-x-18v-brushless-jet-…. So I ordered one for pickup.

  • I went to Kingsgrove Bunnings this morning and they still have plenty left.

  • Got one this morning.

Pretty impressed at the power (esp. on turbo mode) for the price.

Have the electric (corded) version (with vacuum & mulcher function) that got pretty cheap on sale a while ago. Was pretty impressed with that for the price, but a lot chunkier and have to setup with extension cord.

If you already have an Ozito battery pair then can't go wrong on this one at this price. Easier and lighter to use than the corded version.

  • Couldn't find any left at Crossroads but got one at Hoxton Park NSW. Check the middle of the pile, no price tag but scanned at this price.

  • Around 15 were available in Marsden Park Bunnings at 1:30 PM.

  • -1

Bought one for my PXC collection. Not sure what it is for though.

  • Has anyone used this with 2 x 2.0 Ah batteries?

    • +1

Will work fine, although wont have a the longest run time.

  • Click and collect available at the maribrynong store

  • Just grabbed one from the Smithfield(NSW) store. About 10 left.

  • Any idea where can I get an extra 2.5mah battery to combine with the one I got to use with this blower.

    • +2

2.5 Ah battery only available with the compact fast charger for $60

      • Oh ok. I wish they sold the battery by itself.

        • I read somewhere that you can buy knock-off batteries on eBay for fairly cheap?
