Lol what. Not even worth at this price.

    • This was a good phone back in the day, but I'd save up an extra $25 and get a Redmi 8.

      • Agreed. plenty of good Xiaomi's out there.

      • which one you recommend? Note 8 vs Note8T?

Worth mentioning it's already about 5 years old

Very hard to recommend buying it given that it's got a 2525mah battery with a old 28nm processor.

not only will the phone be slow / running insecure version of Android (unless you DIY flash a new OS) but the battery life will also be poor simply due to lithium-ion battery degradation (battery capacity declines even if it's never been used) and poor power efficiency.

Android 5/6, I wonder what apps can be installed on it.

      Most if not all malware.

I wish they had continued to make this form for their newer mobiles

I was more referring to dimensions, thanks.

        Nice insult. Keep it personal.

      • Apple Iphone SE 2 , disagrees

        • Pixel 3A, 4A are all less that 70mm

        • Always owned android but about to switch and buy that only because it has 4.7 inch screen. The 5inch on this makes it sick too.

  • Actually this is one of my favourite android phones. But it is a bit dated at this point. It’s probably worth if it was $90 or less.

  • i'm actually surprised that they are still able "secure" some stock of this. ;)

  • Did not think OnePlus got any good till OnePlus 6?

My 5T still running perfect for 3 years now :) Barely slowed or any issues (except the latest Android update messed up the nav bar gestures), has all the features I need that I don't feel like I'm missing out on any that are coming out on the new phones, and specs are still quite up there for me. Battery obviously doesn't last as long, but as long as I don't get crazy lag like I got with older iphones or huawei then I'm happy! Oh and I've dropped it on the ground and concrete without a case on it probably 15 times now and the screen has still survived, phew!

If I do get an upgrade though, not sure what would even be as value for money as the 5T…? Should I go for the 8? Wait for the 9?

      • 8t is expected to come out but the value for money will be long gone then. The newer phones will also come with Facebook bloatware which isn't nice despite having warp charging

      • The OnePlus Nord model might interest you.

      • Note that oneplus ui has now gone away from stock Android… Its more like Samsung ui now

  • I still have this as a spare, and it's excruciatingly slow.

As much as it's a nicely built phone, definitely not worth purchasing for everyday use

  • i bought it when it first came out. still have but lying as a spare phone to play with. Got Lineage OS on it and runs pretty fast. Only concern is battery life.

  • 5 year+ old phone with ancient software and outdated hardware. buy this if you hate money and life
