I have 4x Crucial Ballistix Gaming Memory, 8GB DDR4 3600MT/s CL16 sticks running at stock XMP on a Ryzen 3700X MSI B450 Mortar Titanium - Zero issues.
Playing Anno 1800 for a few hours i checked my windows task manager performance and it was at 24GB's of system memory in use :)
SO IM glad i have 32GB's of ram for gaming.. i just hope i don't need more over the next 3-4 yearsOver the next 3 to 4 years, extremely unlikely we'll need more than 32Gb RAM. Especially with more videocards & NVMe drives themselves getting DirectStorage support in the future, and with GPU's increasing their vRAM too with every new generation now.
EDIT: Glad I grabbed two of these for $152 before they ran out of stock within 20 minutes lol

@baldur: Mine is not cancelled too, did you buy 2 sets? Maybe they went through the orders and only cancelled the ones that said $76 and we got away for buying two for $152. If others got cancelled though, it's probably just a matter of time before they realised. Although once I got a $100 headphone for free because the discount code when combined with the lightning deal made it $0.00 LOL
@AUMunAh: OzBargain. It was a one time thing, these headphones were on special during the lightning rounds on Amazon down to $60, and when I applied the normal 20% off discount code, for some reason they went down to $0.00 and the order went through and they delivered.

The comment is constrained within a set period of time, next 3 to 4 years.
Games are just starting to finally utilize over 16Gb and only a handful of games like Flight Simulator 2020 recommend 32Gb of RAM right now. Videocards are being pushed with 10Gb+ of vRAM too now with 20GB vRAM becoming likely very soon in mainstream systems, and DirectStorage will allow future games to pull content directly from the NVMe drives that will support the technology.

If it's any of the Ryzen 3000 series (and even 2000 series), you should be fine.

Wanted 32gb of RAM for my upcoming build, is there any major downside to getting 2 of these kits rather than 2 sticks of 16gb? (will be connected to ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus motherboard)

Yeah that is the only downside i see, but 32gb of RAM should be plenty for a long time to come.
I mean if you’re super picky you can also say it doubles the power usage, makes it harder to overclock as you have 4 sticks of ram instead of just two.
Agree with above, 32gb will be more than enough until we move to DDR5 anyway, at this price point it's a no brainer for me
If they run with XMP profiles successfully on all four, no downsides. In fact there's definite improvements in a few cases with 4 sticks vs 2 sticks, even in dual channel setups. Hardware Unboxed have an analysis video about it.

I got two sets of this kit so runnning 4x 8GB - 32GB and works fine on my Ryzen 3800x and on a B450m mortar.
Haven't tried any overclocking but the xmp at 3600 mhz worked without any changes even with 4 dimms from 2 packs.

You will just have to match speed and timings, if your 3200 can match those speeds it will be fine
